On that point, I will agree with you - the call for ball option is a lot less effective than in FIFA. It is also hard to create chances given your player's initial starting ability.

the stats seam to take an age to go up
in 6 training games i scored 6 goals
i made the bench
next 10 games i got 112 mins of football
i scored 3 goals still
but why didnt i get more than 2 starts

How would you prefer the training? Run around cones all day? Run up an down the pitch doing endless laps? Play a 5 a side matches? Jesus... I doubt some of you will never be happy...
If some people including myself can get into the first team after about 2-4 training matches, you must be doing something wrong. You can call for the ball, but if your playing the game right, you shouldn't have too, they will pass. Don't call for the ball and expect a pass when the AI is surrounded by players, or he has he's back to you. Because you wont get the ball! Work for it!
PES is nothing like FIFA, if FIFA was any good, you wouldn't be on these forums shouting and ranting! Stop comparing them and stay on topic.

BTW, 2 games it took me in the third season at Arsenal to get on the subs bench, playing as CMF/AMF. As for you scoring goals, I think that's lies, or over exaggerated. If you scored 6 goals in 6 matches you would be in the first team, no doubt. Now its obvious your trying your hardest to make things up.

as for my goals scored its not lies, in my first match for that shit team i scored the when the 3 teams come along i chose man city, but cos the team roster was so out of date (corradi and bianchi c'mon) i was ther 7th striker almost, but i was scorin so had to make the bench for sure
as for being on here i'm posting these after i play a game or have a rest plus it was for super sunday so meh

Before you, or more likely any of the other people who are against PES, make any more comments regarding the out-of-date squads, I'd like to point out that this is caused by EA signing a huge money deal.
EA's megabucks is also a reason why their game has been making rapid moves forwards - particularly in the graphics department. However, yes that can't excuse Konami for not updating things like the Master League (I am dying for a third tier to be added, and also for D1 and D2 Cup to be rolled into 1).

i know all about the out of date stats, i can hark back to the ps1 days, i'd spend hours correcting every name and transfers (sad i know but thats the love i HAD for the game)
as for the licenses, c'mon its been goin on for years, why is it oth games can get the licenses then? or why dont konami stump up some cash

Because EA have signed huge exclusive contracts with FIFA. EA is the biggest games company in the world - Konami cannot compete in the slightest in terms of finance, so of course they can't just "stump up some cash" and buy rights from EA. To put it another way - that's why Sky have had Premiership rights for over a decade, and terrestrial channels haven't been able to get it back.
