What im hoping for next year is a suped up 8v8 legends game. And BAL tweaked up with more leagues and a better camera.

As is now I agree with you its a great game mode, I havent even bothered with ML yet it just so damn addictive. As for the team dropping places, is down to you the player. Thats why the team sign you, to be the "spark" that lights up the team. If your not getting regular good performances, say 6.5 or better the team will suffer for it.

i play BAL on top player and i must admit the AI is weird...like most of the time a headeer to them they completely dodge the pass and let the opposition get it....

I do agree that it's addictive but so is crack...Ýou know these kind of answers make KONAMI bring PES down th edrain..instead of constructive criticism..people bitch about why you play it...

If you favourite squad is playing shitty football ( cough cough Tottenham cough cough ;-)) do YOU STOP SUPPORTING ..I certainly don't hope so because than your not a REAl fan

I'm a fan of PES..haven't glanced at FIFA since 2000 but I found myself trying the FIFA demo because of the dissapointment....

We are dished the same game with a new feature and new graphics and WHAT?..WE SHOULD BE THANKFULL EVENTHOUGH IT'S CRAP????...

Not sure what you're saying but I don't think PES 09 is crap. Just because the AI is not playing to your expectation doesn't mean they are crap. Yes I do get frustrated with the AI at times but that just adds to the challenge.

FIFA's Be a Pro mode only last 4 seasons and that is crap.

If your satisfied with the same soup re-heated everytime ok that's your opinion ...

I'm just pointing out my disagreement in your suggestion that Konami should stop with BAL. Just thought you should try playing on Top Player difficulty. From your description, it seems you're playing on Beginners.

Or like what I say, you should switch over to FIFA instead.

This is what makes me laugh the most....

When PES doesn't have enough features you cry, when PES has new features you cry. What can they possibly do which doesn't involve people crying about the game? If they try to improve the game a certain way, more people cry. If they stay with the same engine as PES6 you will still cry and moan its the same "soup"??

I'm not doubting the fact you have your own opinions, but whenever something is added, its "OMG this is shit" or "OMG Konami suck, lets all write a abusive letter to them". Jesus grow up!

There only human, if you wanted to, you can easily save your money and either buy another football game, or make your own.

Why is switching over to FIFA always the answer?

I have got both games, I enjoy the best parts of PRO & FIFA. BAL mode don't interest me tbh, so if they dropped it, I wouldn't lose any sleep.

I love th ML mode on PRO & always have. Only reason I really play the game TBH & the online mode on FIFA is awesome.

Fair enough matey, but people saying the mode is shit because they don't like it or can't get into it makes no logical sense whatsoever...

You have the thread about hating PES which is sticky... In that topic everyone is complaining saying PES should have FIFA's features. How is that possible? They are different companies and what would be the point in using the exact same features? You either buy PES or FIFA for their own unique features, not because their the same.

Well that is how petty some people are, just let them get on with it.

I couldn't agree more with the 2nd part tho. Although I believe that they could learn from each other in order to improve there games. Butlike you said, t is better they are different. More variety is better.

just play on top player, and use the wide camera setting, set it to ball. Makes everything SO much easier, trust me. My lad creates everything for Wigan ;) Heskey is a dream to play with

For real Konami can just scrap the BAL if they can't create an honest AI. When I bought the game I started with the BAL immediately. I haven't checked out ML yet. Just to show you how I'm dedicated to this BAL. But after playing 5 seasons winning two D1 league cup, One B1 league cup, the European Championship numerous MOM and MIP's and scored nearly 35 goals as an CF ( put it in there to show you I'm not bitter) I can honestly say that KONAMI SHOULD QUIT BAL.

I'm sure you did READ that part right :rolleyes::rolleyes:..All I'm saying is that I like PES but because I'm critical about it people bitch and moan ...some people are too homotional

You CAN be critical about something you love ....that doesn't mean that you hate it...and what I said is the plain truth..pes 2009 is pes 2008 enhanced ( depends on how you look at it )and with a new feature BAL ( which can't be implemented with a blatantly cheating AI) Because with ML eventhough the computer cheats you have 11 controlled players to try to turn that around..with BAL you only have 1 which is impossible and I like to win..

What's the use in me scoring and my team leads with 1-0..I get subbed in the 70 th minute and the AI either draws or wins..THAT IS BULLSHIT..

I like to become champion ..who gives a f*ck if I score 100 goals but end up being 16th in ranking..I rather not score but become champion...

There is no way you can score 35 goals in top player IN BAL, sorry... CF or not. If you have played 5 seasons your stats wont be that great, your stamina will be poor, shooting will be average, and if you focus all your strength training on "kicking", you would not be able to score 35 goals as you need mostly every other attribute.

I can only see 2 possible ways you get 35 goals a season

1) You either play on beginner or regular.

2) You play 20-30min matches in top player.
