hey all...

i see that some people are working on OFs for us North American players, but at this time it seems like its all for PS3.

wondering if anyone is attempting to make a 360 OF....

i'd be willing to help out in a group effort to make one... not sure what i can do as i don't really know whats involved in doing so, but i'd really like to get a nice OF for the 360.

anyone working on one?

Hey im willing to help out with an option file. However, like you, i have never made one and dont know where to start. I always just leave it to the pros but for some reason it looks like nobody is even attempting a NA 360 option file. Ive never had had any luck making the pics from the vision camera look good so i could proably only help with changing names and what not.

well, i think that we could use the help pack that was supplied earlier. i think that has all the png files and what not.

i guess i have a few questions on how to proceed.

1. do i do the editing on a PC, or on the xbox itself?
2. if its on the xbox how do i save the file into something that can be shared with others?
3. if its on a PC, what application do i use?

i guess thats it for the moment... hopefully, someone with more experience can either chime in or perhaps someone is already working on one.

Jedi, the problem is on 360 u cant import pngs, as far as i know the only way to do it is to actually take pictures of them using the vision camera then do all the editing on ur xbox, which sux. What u need is a transfer kit like Datels x360 transfer kit. Once your done doing all the editing on your xbox u save the option file to a memory card then transfer it using the kit to your pc and post it. I played around with doing one for 08 but was not super successful and honestly i dont have enough free time as a cop working average 60hrs a week. We need to find out who made a 360 NA OF for pes08 and see if they are at it again this year, the one i downloaded last year was very good quality.

werd... that sux. is it microsoft or konami that is restricting this? i'm guessing M$.

i don't have a vision camera. i will be getting the transfer kit if/when a decent OF comes out.

i also don't have that much time, but would like to have as much content in my game as possible.

yeah im with u on the content, i especially want all epl kits. I checked who made the pes08 360 OF I downloaded and it was ricardoht. It was a great OF I thought and one of the only ones available for NA 360 so hopefully he will be at it again this year.

Yeah the pes08 OF was dam good. I remember first seeing ricardoht on the PES boards over on ign as well as here but i dont see any sign of him at either of these places. Like i said i have the camera but i can never get it to turn out even remotely decent.

The first thing to do is, to wait for 1.20 patch to be released in America, after that, transfers will be extremely easy to do, the main thing is to get the kits done, I created Arsenal emblem with the vision camera, only a quick experiment, and it turned out really decent.

pategato, have you messed around with the kits at all. Do you have to take a picture of the entire front of the kit with the crest and sponsor and so on like in 08, or can you do them individually. ie, take a picture of the crest, then the sponsor and paste them seperately on the jerseys? Im really just wondering what the best way to do it is this year, and maybe we can get started on doing something with the epl kits. Im just hoping we wont have to use the editor to draw the badges and sponsors because im pretty sure pes2010 would be out before that would be done.

p.s. guys I also looked on pesfan and pesrepublic for anyone working on a 360 NA OF with no luck. It seems like there is really not even any mention of the NA version on eithier of those boards, not much at least.

1.20 will be released here in America, I have no doubt about it, it wont be tomorrow or the day after, maybe in the next 2 weeks.
About kits, you can take a pic of the whole front, or separate things to put together in the pixel editor.
Gonna start editing my EPL and La Liga kits, with emblems sponsors and all, I might share it like I did with all my PS2 option files :)

luckily the game itself is a great play and engaging... but it still is kinda weak having to play against north london, instead of arsenal.

thankfully i prefer the serie a and milan, i can play actual teams.

trying to decide if i should start editing some things or just wait till after the update

EDIT: i just read this on one of the other NA threads.

The euro option file DOES work with the American PES2009 for 360!!!

I don't know what I did wrong before, but just gave it another try today and it loaded perfectly OK!!!

D&B is the one I'm using.
I used Datel transfer kit and memory card to get the OF in my 360 HDD.

64 or 512 mb are OK, 256 mb is not supported by Xport360.
DO NOT install the software that comes with the kit!!!
Install Xport360 1.07 first then plug the transfer kit with memory card in it.
When Windows tries to install new hardware and asks for the CD, say you want to install manually. Browse for the driver yourself, it is located in
C:program files/datel/xport360.
The drivers that come with the kit are not good, they malfunction very often,
follow these instructions and you'll have no problems.
