NFS: Underground or Underground 2 were the best NFS's.

Agreed. I still remember that there was a PESInsight competition on who has the best looking ride.

I might be playing this on the PC so I wouldn't waste my money if this game turns out to be as shit as IGN said.

What's the customization mode like on this?

I don't think there is much of one in this tbh, i could be wrong but i have done around 12 races and i am yet to discover a garage. You do however steal a sweet Renault Megane (225 i believe aswell) after a while and that is a beast.

Need for Speed or Shaun White Snowboarding?

If you Mean Need for Speed, yes, if you mean Shaun White snowboarding, no, i have played it but it was shit.

A few persons on here and one of my cousins recommended me to use IGN instead of Gamespot if I wanted good game reviews. Most of the time they're good, but you can't expect them to be spot on most of the time.

And of course, opinions differ - since I've been playing games, there are lots that I've enjoyed that were apparently shit. :)

Yep.

I side more with IGN, 'cause they usually voice out their opinions unlike Gamespot, where you'll get a lot of bias.

The "bigga boys" are guaranteed good ratings while those lesser known companies will most of the time have low ratings, when they deserve more.

The exceptions are, when the (low budget) game is held in high regard by the general public.

I'm not a huge car or car related games fan but I have a friend who likes these games a lot. I was thinking of acquiring...so I get it by tomorrow.

Sean, did you play anymore on the game? How do you find it compared to NFS Underground 2; gameplay, graphics and mod/customisation wise?

Thanks.

Edit: I'd like the views of others, if they have played the game.

Well i never played Need for Speed Underground 2 on an ext gen console, don't think it was out for next gen tbh, so obviously there is no comparison there. Gameplay is similar to but better than Need For Speed Most Wanted. Customisation wise, so far i'd say it is limited but to be fair i haven't noticed anything yet apart from upgrading my engine and stuff, maybe later on there is more but as i said i have only just started, i think it has the potential to be better than NFSU2

How do you access the (offline) multiplayer modes? I can't even access the main menu! It gets me to play the single player campaign directly - chase with cops.

Anyone notice the cars you can buy? Ive taken a look and there are some beauties there.

I want to get the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 & the Audi R8. Imagine doing an outrun with the Bugatti. I burned a Mustang or Chevorlee(sp) with my little Lotus Elise, What handling. Imagine what the Bugatti would be like:chanlaugh: I'm liking this game. Especially when i'm messing the police around with my Lotus.

But I'm gonna save up for the Bugatti though then il be happy :)

Got this game for Xmas, I'm liking it so far. One thing I don't like about it is the difficulty. A lot of the races seem too easy lol. It is starting to get more difficult though. I'm about 25% through the game already. Got a Lotus Elise and a Audi TT.

Anyone completed it?

When I got the PS3 a few weeks before Christmas, I only played NFS for like 5 minutes, and had completed 5%. I know that's not a lot, but, it's 1% per minute. I've read that loads of people have completed it in a few hours.

It's much better than Pro Street, in my opinion, but, still no where near as good as Underground. I will probably continue to play this game over the next few days.
