Old one. Man Utd is a licensed team in the game and therefore the kit cannot be edited

Mate, me and my friend are having a problem with this patch.
When the Pro Evo logo comes, "Press any key to start"
It gives out an LOAD error saying.
The current edit file is made for a newer version and tells us to update.
Help please.


I too have a similar prob. The link provided above is for PES09PATCH120, while using network update i got PESPATCH140.But installer asks if its the right patch for my version. Update for 1.00 worked for me [Kowalski]. HELP. I am unable to play online due lack of update.

no worries. i did it internally within my game. went to "network" and it started telling me about updates and how to install them. just did a search for you, and found this

which should allow you to update easily without messing around in the game

Ive been looking everywhere for a new option file with 09-10 kits and transfers for ps3, no luck as of yet!

I'm sure there any many discussion topics helping people with any updating difficulties. My method was pretty straightforward...
1. I updated to 1.2 by downloading it from the Konami site
2. I updated to 1.3 by going to the "download" option within the game
3. I did the same to update to 1.4 within the game

I think you can download straight to version 1.3 from the Konami website. Here's the link for the file...

Then, in the game, go to "settings", and the click on "download" and follow the instructions. Let me know if this works, so that I can advice others in the future

I don't have a PS3 and it's not possible to convert from one to the other, so I'm afraid you'll have to keep searching. Or just by it on the PC (it should be pretty cheap now)

As dagnabit1 said, I can't change Man Utd's kit just using the option file as they are a licensed team. I have already answered this question at least twice before.

As for Valencia, I did this transfer the day it happened. Had you looked just one page back you would see a picture of him in the Man Utd team with a brand new face scan

Thanks alot sammy_k_84 your option file actually makes pro evo worth playing now.

How do you find out all the latest transfers. Do you have a website you can check them on. Its just i like to keep Football Manager 2009 as up to date as possible plus i might be interested in helping you with the option file.

PS. Marcus Hahnemann signed for Wolves btw. I apologise if he is in Wolves and I missed it like an idiot.
