Yeah, I never use slide in the penalty area, better to stay on your feet and block their path; I use the standing tackle nearly all the time, and works a treat. It will with your player too, Dan, as your man is similar to mine in height and build.
But if you're not liking defending, then play in midfield, when you played at DMF that time, I thought you were very good in that role.

Come to think about it, yeah, the numbers might just be given out at random. I always have #3 when I'm at RCB, but when I was playing as ANY last night my man might've been wearing #12, not 100% sure though.
If we can't choose player numbers ourselves, then that's something EA should work on for the next game :erm:

Yeah. I tried logging in as Phatmann on the digital spy forums and it worked - seems I signed up back in April 2006 and never made a post. From there I looked for a thread like this on there and had a go at them for disconnecting - I really laid into them, held nothing back, some of them were inconsolable. Once they calmed down they offered a rematch and I begrudgingly accepted.

They were clearly a talented team in attack (though I think we can contain them) but that defence was fairly wide open for us Phats - two first-half goals the likes of which we scored show a weakness they have and my orgasmic lob with backspin was quality.
