Ive havent dloaded the later konami updates but when I get my net connection back this week ill see if ill fix the bugs and release a pre summer OF..

MY new motivation is the fact that everyone can now enjoy this great OF due to USB support :)

Hey mate u good.

Sorry if I havent replied, ive not been online properly for a little while now and ive also been very busy..


Chants..

On the ps3 you can import 5 chants (i think) into the game and the game plays these chants over and over again..

Now ive never seen this in action but from what I understand the chant itself is limited to a certain size and length.

The 360 does not work like this.

the is no chant option.. BUT!!!!!!!!!


I have found a way to do it..

Basically on the 360 you play the chants in the background like an audio cd.. (this is an advantage with the 360 because there is no limit as to how many chants you have)

The crowd dont react to whats going on on screen but many times it coincidentally does..

I use Arsenal and many times I take a shot with V persie and the crowd happen to start singing.. (pure coincidence) or they start singing Diabys song etc..



######HOW IVE DONE IT############

I have approx 30 team specific chants per team plus another 40 generic chants that any team could use and ive edited each one to be long enough to sound realistic..

for instance.. the chant song "you dont know what your doing" would be said by a crowd 4, 5 or 6 times etc before it fades out

The chant file I have only says it once.. so not very realistic..

So what I had to do was edit the audio wave file and now I have it looped to repeat for 5 or 6 times etc before fading out.. Now it sounds realistic.


I have to do this to all the chants making sure that it all sounds smooth with no audio clipping etc.. :(


Then I have to put a blank space at the end for a few seconds or so... (Reason is to put a space after the chant before the next one starts playing)

To help solve this problem i have also created many blank audio files for 20 seconds or so..

When these files play it will create a nice silence until the next chant plays..

Remember the game audio will be playing all the time so you will still hear the in game crowd and the commentators.

the important thing is no not let my chants sound constant with no rest period.. (crowds get tired too and need a breather before the next song lol)


Now when I finish each team I make a folder and put the clubs specific chants, the generic chants and also the silent tracks into a usb stick in folders for instance..

Folder - Arsenal
Folder - Aston Villa
Foder - Chelsea

etc

So once you have all the chants on the usb stick.. before the game you just choose the team chants you want to listen too

press play then select random..

This will now play all the chants randomly and while your playing the game and the atmosphere is great.


#########Problem..#############

RANDOM is crap.. its not really random..

Ipod, mp3, home sterios.. Random is a misleading word..

if its random then how come I know whats coming next..??


So if you select random or not you dont get the files shuffled as you woud like to..

Solution ..
just start the chants on track 2 then press random or track 3 for example..

this will give you better results.. either way you dont have to go deep so just press play..

When you start to learn the order you will probably see what im saying..



#########Problem 2..################

I thought I finished the editing and I copied all the generic files (40 plus) into each and every club folder

only to find that the blank space after all of them is not long enough.. and because random dosent shuffle the chants correctly its almost like the crowd sing song after song without no reat..


I now have to sort that out.. 30 teams times 40 chants.. do the math.. :(



my internet is back this week (Virgin 50mb) :) so i hope to upload some stuff in a week or so..

I'm new here because of the great news that xbox can use a usb stick to transfer data. And I would like to thank you for your (and other's) efforts to enhance the quality of PES 2010. Probs

I only have one question and I'm hoping you would reply on that.
I downloaded your latest version and installed it (although i cant see shirt sponsors in England and Spanish squads im very pleased!)
but my question now is, can I also download an other OF and use it WITH yours?
like this one:
(XBOX360) JON's Option File PES 2010 (English Premier League / Spanish Liga)

because in the guide to install (PESgaming) an OF you must delete the original EDIT in Xtaf, and the copy the one you did (with other .bins).

If it is possible to use simoultanously yours and Jon's you have much more data!

Myself and Cowson created 3 option files all with official kits and badge emblems

We have
v1 All kits with 2 german teams

V1.5 as above but with 3 german teams in total plus all the international kits

v2 all of the above with 18 championship teams and transfers up to date from 05/02/10 with kits and emblems polished to perfection (well almost)


Now to answer your question you cant blend option files but you need to know what it is you want..

The OF you are using has been built from v1

If you want v2 then use v2.. it explains how to install v2 on the 1st page.

Hi Daymos

Are you planning on releasing a New OF which includes the latest DLC and patch etc from Konami next week sometime?

Also, when transferring the OFs using the usb memory stick is it now possible to select all the files at one time and copy them to the Xbox hard drive or do you still have to copy 1 file at a time?

thanks daymos.i was gonna get the ps3 version nxt time cos of the chants being on ps3 but it sounds as if it works better on xbox with ur way.so will i be able2 2buy a preloaded usb like i did with memory card last time?i may still get ps3 version for quickness i dont kno.for me chants add a lot 2 the game.kno ur mega busy but ur work is top and man 50mb?ive only got 2mb lol

i was on to you a few weeks back about the chants daymos but since then my xbox broke, again! its like the 4th time in as many years so i bought a ps3, cant find any good chants anywhere for it so was wondering if yours would work on it? also its alot easier to make an of for a ps3 using pngs so to see the quality of yours and cowsons which was made with the xbox live camera is amazing.

But to answer your question you can't use v2 if you have never used xbox live or done the konami updates

you can download the updates by taking your machine to your mates house and get it that way.. (please note you can't just take your hard drive to your mates house and plug into his 360.. trust me on that one as it's a Long story)


are you not able to go online?

If your banned on xbox live for whatever reason then its a no no im afraid..

there is no legit way to get the konami updates that I know..


try all the hacking forums as they may have an unnoficial way to do it.

or create a forum asking questions..

theres a long list of issues if you do these updates but its your choice or you can edit the errors yourself if you still require the Feb or March Konami updates

I really really need you help right now.

I use you're option file - Full English

I start a Master League game with Manchester United. I create the real leagues like, Premier League, Championship, La Liga and Serie A. And so i have the Eresdivise and Ligue 1.

When i "edit" the leagues so i create all the real leagues i remove teams like Bayern Munich and Stuttgart outside all leagues because i create the real leagues.

But i really really want a way to have the teams in my Master League. When i go to "Negoations" in Master League I go to "Other Teams (Europe). Here are all teams like anderlecht, Dynamo Kiev, Fc Copenhagen, Celtic etc. But Bayern Munich and Stuttgart are not here and anywhere in my Master League. So the class players from Bayern Munich like Olic, Ribery, Robben, Klose and Gomez are NOT in my Master League, and the players are also NOT on the national teams because they don't play for a club.

So Daymos and Cowson, and other users, guide me;

How can I get Bayern Munich and Stuttgart inside my Master League so they etc are in the "Other teams (Europe) ? :)

AND I NOT NEED TO HAVE THEM IN SOMEONE OF MY LEAGUES BECAUSE I WILL HAVE THE REAL LEAGUES FROM THE REAL WORLD!

Hey I went online for the 1st time with my new 50mb virgin broadband and to my surprise I had 3 perfect games with no lag :)

I also have not updated since the December boots and balls konami update and I had no trouble finding people to play. (I think its v1.3.3 and the current version is v1.6.6 I think)

So until I cant find any games online I don’t think I will make a new version just yet for the sake of 1 champion’s league ball and an extra boot.

Only gripe is that if we require stupidly fast broadband speeds just to get online games working smoothly then we still have a problem for the masses.


Another bit of info.

I contacted konami months ago to tell them what myself and Cowson have been doing for the community

I wanted to know their views on what we do.

I gave them a summary of the 100's of emails received each week quoting msgs like. If it weren’t for your option file I would buy fifa etc

Constructively we offered to help in the next instalment even if it’s to give feedback on how this edit mode can be improved as we know it inside and out.


They replied this week and will get back to me shortly.

Now they make tell me that what were doing is illegal or something silly like that or they may actually give praise for what we do and utilise the skills we have.


Or they could be stubborn and tell me that my contribution does not actually make a difference to their sales. Etc.


All is positive at the moment and ill let you know what they say.

I hope they don’t insult me and take the Pi$$ because I don’t really want to play fifa next year (even though it has its merits)
