What are you, 13? Get your head out of your ass and stop with the constant gay sex jokes. You're not funny, you just sound like you fancy a bit of bum.

I disagree, certain screenshots can tell you a fair bit about animation, the same way some widecam shots can tell you a bit about tactics and AI. Not as much as a video, obviously, but still enough to warrant some curiosity or promise.

i've been reading similar comments on here, evo web and wenb, please go into what you mean by this? i must be missing something because to me screenshots are designed to show the tone, vibe and look of the game not how it moves, to see it move you need video. they could have new player models but it could still move poor.

Yeah right as oppossed you coming on here, crying like some kind of domestic abuse victim.. "please dont critisize adam, if you dont like him leave him alone, wenb aint that bad". lmao. Are you his wife or just a bit on the side? you dont need to beg for him you know, he can come here and do it himself, im' sure he doesnt need his bitch coming on here to help him out.

So pull your knickers up, and go hop on some next mans dick.

Again with the sex jokes? I can logically dispute your argument and suddenly I'm Adam's bum chum? PESGaming is a mature forum for mature PES gamers (I've been a member of this place for 3 years longer than you have btw) yet you're the only one throwing hilariously unfunny insults. How much of your lunch break did you use to come up with the latest one? I'm done with this. Debating with school children is a pointless endeavour. Come back and talk to me when your balls drop.

Screenshots are designed to display graphics, but they can also give you clues about other things because they're taken in game; like the shape of a defense when dealing with an attacking situation, the position of a defender engaging the attacker and the shape of his defensive support. Is it good? Is it bad? Or the opposite, the support an attacker gets from his team mates when leading a move. Is his winger static or is he sprinting to give him an option?

It's the same with animation too; like the position/shape of a players movement as he shoots/heads/passes the ball. You may think to yourself; 'I've never seen that before on this game, they've changed the animation?' or 'if a footballer was shooting/heading/passing the ball then they'd look like this in a real picture'. It's not an exact science, certainly not enough to get overly excited as there's no substite for video evidence, but it can give you clues about certain aspects of the game and what you'd most likely see in a video.

sorry i disagree. motion is motion and the only way to define that for what to expect from a upcoming video game is to see it on video.

pes 2010 screenshots looked decent but it moved like crap. we'll all see how it moves soon enough though :)

Fucking yawn, youv'e done about 90 or so posts, about 89 of them were shit, the other one was you begging for adam, and in not one of those posts was that squiggy pink mush you call a brain able to understand the following.

There is no point in having a forum, if you only allow members to debate along lines that fit in with your agenda. Which is why wenb is pathetic.

Very simple concept, but im sure adam willl be very proud of you for the effort you put in on his behalf, so you can pop back to wenb with your wet fanny and ovulate whilst he blabbers on about the return of the king.

i agree, someone said to you on a previous page

"what do you expect its a pes fansite"

well i bauked at that, a pes fan site does NOT mean the material its following isnt beyond criticisim from anyone. in fact being critical at times is the only way to improve, nothing is perfect but you can always get better, dont they want it to improve? I dont really use wenb because of some of the regular posters attitudes (not the mods etc) so from what i've read on the community there seems to be this fantasy/stuck in their ways routine from a lot of members who wont accept the fact something they paid £30-40 a year for isnt what it should be and the reason people are critical over it is simply because it should be doing better..a fucking lot better!!

the feedback section, gameplay feedback...instead of going on about engines, ball weight, individuality and so forth some of them kept harping on about goal nets, when i first read it i wanted to punch them in the face for being so narrow minded.

Just close this thread already... If you're just going to talk about WENB and Adam or whatever, talk about it somewhere else.

This thread is titled 'If Konami Can Implement What Is In The Press Release....' not 'Lets all talk about WENB'.

That's it, this site, encourages you spend your hard earned money on a game by making misleading comments on the in game contents, there is an agenda there to raise the sales of pes regardless of how good the game is and that's that imo, its a little bit more than your standard pes fan site.

Liverpool way: What's the single biggest improvement you wanna see this year? if you had to pick one and one only.

Same q to everyone else.

My question to you is. Will animations alone get rid of the on rails gameplay and the restriction you feel when you play pes????

no, only a new engine will achieve that. a competent engine not one with just a fancy name. i said animations because it was the first thing that popped into my head.

I remember when I saw the gameplay videos of Pes 2010, analyzing them to micro pieces and getting really exited about the game but here´s the thing, the videos of Pes 2010 looked really nice and the gameplay on them looked superb to me at least but when I was finally able to play the game it was a bit of a shock to be honest because the endless gameplay videos I mastered didn´t really feel like the final game. But I´m still looking forward to see videos of Pes 2011 and getting really hyped up but maybe not as super hyped like Adam and co :)

PES 2010 screenshots were a case of being visually impressive but in terms of player shape it was a case of 'seen it all before'. You could tell from the screenshots that the animations were gonna be the same old robotics we'd been subjected to for the previous 2-3 years. I agree there's no substitute for video evidence, but pictures can give you clues on the game too. They can look organic or inorganic just like videos can too. Anyway, we'll see come June 1st.

How does a still picture, tell you for sure that the animations will be robotic?

Surley seeing the animations in motion tells you that.

A video will tell you everything about the animations in motion. A still picture doesn't tell you anything for sure, however it suggest things about the animations, the most obvious being whether they've changed at all. Does the pose of the player look organic?. If that's the case then the animations may look more organic in the game. Last year the screenshots were the same as they were for PES 2009, the only thing that had changed were the graphics and lighting. The players' body shapes in various screenshots (i.e. the positions of the arms, legs, torso, etc.) when jumping up for a header were identical, same with running, same with shooting, etc. which suggested the animations hadn't changed, or at least they hadn't changed with any notable significance, so I wasn't surprised to be disappointed by Konami once again in that regard. Like I said, it's in no way a precise measurement or proof what the animations will look like and you'd be foolish to take it as such, but its it can be used as an indication of what the animations may possibly look like.

to be honest, i believe konami are on the right track with the freedom aspect of the game being ''totally revamped''. There are so many restrictions and gameplay glitches that fluidity is all but lost. From this we can distinguish a difference between fifa and pro evo. Yes the presentation of pro evo is unbelievable, but you can't play a smooth, fluid passing game, and it is so frustrating. What makes matters worse is that we've had to resort to fifa ever since next-gen (current-gen) gaming and the presentation, individuality, and factors like goal variation , ball physics, etc; are nowhere near the standard of PES, but pes because of it's restrictions and gameplay fuck ups is simply unplayable.

If you're referring to the still animation (where it shows how to shoot or pass) then yes, but that still doesn't matter because you want to know the exact animation of how it happened to judge, so in the end a picture is still not enough. Sometimes pictures can fool you too.
If you look at pes 6 animations (they were better than today's) and then compare a screen from pes 6 to a screen from pes 10 you'll hardly notice the difference. Because the positioning of the shots and passes that the player makes didn't change in pes, only the full animation itself made a turn for the worst.

Here's hoping for a video that'll show ANIMATIONS and POSITIONING. 2 key aspects of the game that aren't good so far.

PES Gaming = Freedom of speech

The reason I love and will always be a member of PES Gaming is because of the freedom of speech.

Like Tech_Skill, i too have been critical of Konami and the fish (Seabass) but have been cautioned on PESFan and banned on WENB not for cursing but for negative comments towards PES. I have never been muzzled here.

Back to topic....
Fifa still remains the best footie game on the market, their numbers in sales reflect just that. They are not selling games to morons, but to fans just like us. The games (Fifa 10 + FWC) may have its faults also mainly floaty feeling and lack of individuality; but they have the basics down to a T. Animations are nice and the fucking online works.

As for PES....the games looks good that is all i can say. We all know the problems so i wont get into those.

If Konami can implement what is in the press release ....then they will be a good contender this year. It is going to be really hard to beat Fifa because EA is showing improvements on each release ....Konami not so much....Has anyone seen the blue Samurai vids? Same fucking game as PES 2010. NO IMPROVEMENTS AT ALL.

Based on Konami's track record .....I am not holding my breath or looking for any newly released images or game vids. I will wait until the game is released and watch the reviews. They haven't mentioned a single thing about online yet.

I do hope they make a great game this year ...but if not, Fifa isn't that bad.

Peace
