I think it's a good idea to add shirt names for hidden players, huh!!

It will look like that...
Fake Name => Original Name = 'SHIRT NAME'

It's already written in the first post but in the pic that Hajnal30 sent he wears #8 but at the moment #10. If number changes there's a possibility of change of name. First of all I'm checking the team and jersey number of players from Wikipedia. I want all members to check as I do and JackWhoBRA please check them before adding to the first post. Otherwise, how can I trust?

e.g. Jérôme Boateng's shirt name was just 'BOATENG' when he wore #19 but now he wears #17 and shirt name is 'J. BOATENG'

CISSOKHO will not be added as he just uses his surname and M.BASTOS is already on the list.

I get what you mean about the hidden players and I'll add to the bottom soon, great work and thanks!

Believe me I check every name, team etc on Wiki before adding to the list which can be very time consuming. If a player transfers after this they will be found eventually, but I'm not going to check the list all the time, there's too many and I make kits too.

If I hear about a transfer I will update, but obviously many will move without my knowledge, but that's when it's great to have as many people as possible involved to keep an eye out and to post any updates...

Yeah there are loads that are incorrect especially some in EPL like Burnley 'D. FOX' I changed to FOX + 'FOX' as there are no other players in the game called Fox, but that's my preference. :happy:

With ones like those I just change if I notice them while playing. Like I have changed A. GUARDADO to GUARDADO + 'A. GUARDADO'.

This list is really for those players that have shirt names that are not just their surname. I think if we added the corrections like 'WAIGO' the list would start to get HUGE as it's already very big.

I wasn't going to add those type of ones on, was meant to be a list for anything other than surname, but I suppose we should as it is something that needs correcting.

What's peoples thoughts? There's usually a few in the EPL with initials that don't need them...

Personally I go through players who have initials in surnames and then check to see if the initial is on the shirt, if it is, i remove it.

*** Update ***

Hey guys, I've spent all afternoon updating the front page with the following while watching some games. I've now got ESPN HD which will come in very handy! :w00t

+ Updated header image
+ Changed section titles to countries including any 2nd Division etc teams
+ Added loads of shirt names from previous posts and checked their current clubs
+ Added new names from watching games this weekend
+ New names and tansfers will be marked with *** for a while and can be easily identified
+ Hidden players have been added to the bottom

- I haven't checked all the others as will do that when PES2011 hits and add these to my game.

Hope you like what I've done and got more games to watch now and surely more additions.

If you have a look and notice any transfers that need updating, let us know as always and keep looking out for more!

Personally if i notice something ill post it up on one forum board but not all of them jack cant see wanting to post the same thing 4 times sorry mate, maybe you should have a "home" board for the thread and just direct people to it?!

Dude it better not be on 4 forums. Here and WENB are the only threads I have for the shirt names and I literally only added to WENB on Sunday.
