Paul, just to let you know mate, on your recent update the kits for Portsmouth had defaulted to their originals. Easy to change back but thought you might want to take a gander.

Just installed this, kept the save data from the one I never finished just incase.

Just a quick look but so far Id say
Player database - 5/5
Team roster accuracy - 3/5
Player appearance - 0/5
Player ratings - 4/5

Unfortunately you only find out who the extra players are after you've bought them so it's difficult to work this out for myself!

I'm not 100% on this but if a player is registered to a team then you should be able to buy them regardless of whether you have unlocked that player. The players that arent registered to a team you will need to unlock before you can buy them

Fair points, the apperances are always the last thing I fix up, currently working on improving them. With the roster accuracy what would you say are the main faults?

mann... that was the best Option File i've ever seen!.. that is exactly waht i was looking for... the Bundesliga replacing the fake and stupid PES Ligue... and the npower ligue replacing the 2 div.... all kits and logos of all times fixed... amazing!... however, i need it for the new version of the PES 2011 US... can you help me?

Perhaps my rating there was a little harsh, but I just noticed that (not so familiar with the Bundesliga so not sure about that) in some of the Champ. teams there were young (17, 18) players who had never played a game for the team with ratings of above 70, when there were a couple of 1st team players who were missing. Zaha for example - maybe because he cant be found on FM?

One question I have though - there are I think 218 players in the free agents section named "DUP". Will they actually show up in Master league or will the name DUP stop them from doing so. Otherwise I can see a load of players named DUP in every team :-/

There's no way to change the option file for a different region sorry. All I can suggest is importing a UK copy of the game

With the missing players like Zaha, it is because I couldnt get stats, I do have stats now and those missing players will be in the next update.

The players named DUP are the duplicate NT players, they wont appear in ML or BAL unless they are registered to a team before you start, so no need to worry there :)

Or for example I changed your Reading for Millwall and used Shittu from the national team. I then used the duplicate shittu to change into Michael Mifsud. Would he appear in master league now, or will I have to actually make a Mifsud in the created players section?

Its a pain in the ass because I spend months making my own champ/b-liga option file (also with Partizan coincidentally) but after getting about 70% of the way went crazy and just got yours intead.

(sorry if the player appearance comment offended by the way - thats my favourite part of creating players!!)

Yeah the players with proper names will appear as free agents, if you edit over a duplicate player then register them to a team they will also appear in ML.

I know it takes ages to do, thats why I do it in stages, theres always something to change or improve :)

You didnt offend me, its just always the last thing I do as its the one thing that will change after you start a ML or BAL, so its I always try to get the players created with basic apperances to start with then improve them where possible throught the year. I'm currently working on getting alot of the face builds that people have created on here & pesfan into the game ready for the next update

Thats strange because when I start a ML I can't find any of the players under free agents. I select it and it just says "no players" :no:

Also, should I be starting a master league with classic players on or off. I'm guessing I can have it on, but just thought I'd double check.

Very strange, I will check it out, there should be a few there. Yeah play with classics on as I have overwritten all the retired players with Copa Libertadores players to give you more players to buy

Ok so I started a ML to see whats happening & your right when I look at free agents the only players there are the classic players that arent registered to a club, none of the free agents show up.

Ive not played ML yet so im only guessing, but one of two things may happen. First they could appear from the January transfer window or more likely they are treated like unregistered NT players and they will appear at random in youth teams.

Maybe someone who has played ML a bit can confirm this
