Team PESGaming (PS3) - Fifa 12 Clubs

I enjoyed playing at left back with Barn and Jonno in the centre. Never played there before so it was nice not to be shit there.

It's nice having someone else in the back four, we just need someone to play RBand we'd have a pretty solid defence. It's good knowing your LB won't be doing a really dodgy pass just ut of nowhere 9/10

I notice that when barn disconnected the two times his VP was still pretty good, but it was allowing runs that Barn would block on his own. CPU controlled defenders are a liability

I made my VP and did almost all of the arena accomplishments. How do I join? CAM Playmaker but I can change if needed.

Edit: While I am playing as a Playmaker I'm usually much better as a striker so I'll do that if I find it hard.

Search for the team "PESGaming" and submit a request. You probably wont be playing in your preferred position as much as you like as sometimes we have 8+ people online at a time and it's usually down to whoever clicks the psoition first, it's better to be flexible in that aspect.

Thought that last game was a lot better than what preceded it, even though we lost. 60% possession was very good. We just need to keep playing like that, with simple passes and everyone trying to put themselves in good positions to receive the ball, and the confidence will rise, and, sooner or later, the goals will come. Right now, we just need to keep putting in the foundations though.

Like Bam said we need to do the easy thing most of the time, I'm getting tired of running after the ball like a madman. We need to hold our shape and let the ball do the work.

Our midfield are trying them killer passes way too often, there's nothing wrong with dropping a pass backwards aswell if it means holding the possession. Mightn't seem like we're getting anywhere but as long as we have the ball the other team can't score. One touch pass is the trick, when we get the space then we can do the damage, not every time.

I might form the dG's for the new season, will be a bit of banter on here aswell. -_-

I think we've established now that 3 at the back doesn't work, especially when I take the wide position.

I actually think we need to move the ball forward more quickly and be more direct. Because no other team plays a dominant possession game. and we lose the ball in the middle quite often. So from back to front ASAP. We could probably do with being more clinical with our finishing also.

I've always said that 4 at the back is much better with me and you in a CB role and Dale at LB.

When we have three at the back there are too many times we're getting a two on one position in the wide areas. However, that being said it'd be ok against 3 or 4 members but when we're playing against 8+ it's nigh impossible.

Those CPU defenders really do fucking wreck the place, I think it's a case of people calling for the ball aswell when they're in no position to receive it, then the CPU trys the long pass rather than the easy layoff.

It's all getting used to it for me personally as I'm only playing fifa less than a week.

Barn we need to list our best side and their respective positions on the team. Up top on the wings or anywhere in AM does me. My dude just can't tackle for shit and falls over when I get into the mix. :/

I don't think we should fix people to just playing their 'best' positions. One of the strengths of our team is that most of us are pretty versatile and willing to try out different positions if needed.

Completely agreed, plus it's not really fair if someone says "my best role is x" so he always plays it whereas other people are left with shit. The whole idea is that we're a team and we should be flexible in where we play and always willing to let other play in positions rather than hogging a certain position.

I play wherever there's a spot, enjoying CB at the mo (as part of a back 4) as it really is a terrifying experience.

Dive in, would take too long every time I switch roles, I think i've played everywhere on the pitch over the past fortnight.

My player is as wake as water, I'd get trampled in the back line or in the middle battling. I'm flexible as regards any of the offensive spots though if we're trying to get the best out of our stats.

Everyone loves playing as an attacking midfielder or striker and getting the glory with a goal but we should all get down and dirty in DM or defensive roles once in a while ;)

I'm shit everywhere though lol

I think some of you have your VP's built to play offensive and should probably just play there, unless you're willing to add more bulk to them. Even LB or RB would probably be okay as you'll have speed to track back even if you're shit at tackling. I don't mind playing DM/CM roles, or that night playing LB. I'm not the most clinical up front and don't have my guy built for speed/trickery to be the playmaker.

You and Barn at the back are solid Jonno. The night Dale was there too, he was excellent. Very reliable.

It's not about getting the glory dude, but my player isn't going to do much in a thick battle against a player like Barndoors beast for example. If we set our side up better it will benefit the teams results.

Establishing a couple of defenders wouldn't do us no harm either though unless nobody wants to commit, in that case we can just do what we're doing and rotate.

I'll play anywhere if needs be.
