I was reading a bit on career mode and from what I ascertain, we can opt to have the European cup, aka "champions league" in our first season which is an improvement over last year. Supposedly it works as a random draw but then we have the ability to swap teams as we see fit.
interesting to hear the game developers talk about this - they took the words right out of my mouth because if you have to wait for the second season for "champions league" the teams are so different than what you watch on tv because there has been 3 transfer windows. I am excited about this.

We can edit players in a career mode, new advantage. And perhaps most interesting is they supposedly cured the transfer market so David Silva just doesn't get sold over and over. We will see how this goes on the final release.
I am intrigued what Season mode will be. I hope, but don't expect, it to be like career mode without the transfers such that the season has multi-tiered cups such as the EPL coupled with Carling/FA/European('champions league') cups. Much like PES season mode. However, it does seem like Seasons mode may be an online season versus what I wrote above.
