[LEAGUE] Thread for Argentina Primera División

I am very interested in this league, and the option file has room for it. The WE League is in the South American section, ready to be filled with Argie teams!

I can make team badges... but I suck at kits, other than that there is little help in me though. I don't know any players well enough to have an opinion on stats, and I can only make half decent kit png's. But if you need good quality team badges, I'm you man! :D

Wait so there is an option to create 2 leagues this year? Plus a division 2?

What I mean is PES league becomes Bundesliga, WE League Argentina League and a separate D2?

actually, it's a weird thing that konami did. I do not have the game, but some of my friends already have it and told me some things about it:

-The WE League has the same teams that D2 League in PES 2012
-Starting a ML, you can choose Brazilian League, PES League or WE League:
-If you choose Brazilian League, the PES League will be a fictional south american league and WE League the Brazilian Second Division.
-If you choose PES League, this will be the Second Division of WE League.
-If choose WE League, you choose if you be the Second Division of PES League or Brazilian League.
-In BAL, the things change a little: if you choose WE League, this will be the First Division of PES League.
-The fake south american division clssify 3 teams for Libertadores (Allianza Lima, Caracas e Emelec were replaced), so, if create any South American league, there is the risk of having duplicate teams in Libertadores.

Summarizing, I don't know why Konami do the things in the hard way, but I don't know how we can create the Argentinian League (or any league) in this game :( .

i would love to help create this and have a lot info to post but won't do it if it'll appear in both european and south american ML's as its a complete waste.

Another big problem: for what I understand, if you replace PES League for Bundesliga and play South American ML, the Bundesliga will be like a South American league. I don't want this, but seems real :( .

Yes, its the problem.
One option is to make two OFs, and then you will play with the South American ML, you need OF 1 and then you will play with the european ML, you need OF 2...

And you can't edit or base copy the Libertadores players and teams!

You sure you cant base copy those players?

As for teams why not just base copy last year Argentinian teams for starters?

This is strange... I have made Bundesliga out of the PES League, but in BAL the teams that I have moved from Other European is back in the European pool so Bayern and Dortmund is replaced with fake teams in all league competitions.

oh my GAWD how is it possible to fix this mess Konami?

EDIT:
Fixed that problem at least...

I guess we'll think of something in the end.

LMAO how STUPID are Konami... honestly?

The way they've made up this system, you need to pick one country to stick with it forever. Create D2 as Npower for example, and you're stuck with Premier League until you decide to remake the whole division, unless of course you don't mind having Blackburn in the Brazilian league...

That is so unbelievably stupid... STUPID!

I started ML in Brazil, and the PES League became a rival league and WE League became Brazilian Second Division.

I then started ML in Europe, suddenly PES League was there, and WE League becomes Second Division to whichever league you pick there.

How much effort would it really take Konami to create a proper two divisional league system for this game?

Not much...
Not much at all, just fill it with random generated fake players and team names.

EDIT;

We can make a proper BAL Option File with Argentine League as the leagues seems to be set in stone in this mode.

BAL League Structure;
"PES League" becomes a European league with a dedicated cup
"WE League" becomes a South American league with a dedicated cup

Anybody know why Chivas and Santos Laguna is banned from Copa Libertadores in 2013?

I'll check the basecopy thing in a second Stringer.
That is correct, Stringer.. you can't access those teams at all from edit mode. So I guess console players are fucked once more... I can't understand why anyone would use one if they have a PC...

What is the status with Libertadores players? Can you or can you not base copy them?

Just double checked and you definitely can't. You can't transfer in or out of the teams and you can't add their players to the national teams- really disappointing stuff. The mode is basically Copa Libertadores 2012 as it was, boxed off from the main game.

On PC we can remedy that, I've replaced the Argie teams with Santa Fe, Deportivo Anzoátegui, Colo-Colo, Club Olimpia and Club Tijuana and moved the Argentine teams into the WE League, including the players.

I'm not half done with the player creation yet, but they're renamed and the team names and badges are correct.

Now, if I start ML it will be a holy mess of something awful, BUT if I start BAL everything is in correct order.

I can even transfer from Boca to Spurs and back to Velez if I want to. The only issue is that Copa Libertadores is set in stone the first season, no Argentine teams can qualify until the second season.

By using KSF (kitserver file system) I can easily activate and deactivate the patch as I please, and have a (or several) completely different league setup for Master League. Nothing is stored in the edit.bin file, everything is done by overriding the *.img files directly. It's a beautiful PC world... :)

Such a shame! You know Konami prob got into a lil bit of trouble last year with team execs and to please them hardwired all Libertadores teams and players. You know at this point I could not really care about that competition, its been useless since its inclusion and the players stats arent well researched at all. They should have saved their money and purchased an additional South American League or more European teams.

Even if we make a League now we will have the duplication of 5 Argentinian teams.... As Sabatasso said this wont really be an issue for PC players but those of with a PS3 idk :( Iknow guys like Robbyearon make an Argentina OF every year, wonder how they are going to go about it now....
Interesting thought though, and this really only concerns the three preset players on Boca - Schiavi, Riquelme, and Rodriguez,- say we base copy Boca Juniors from 2012 do you think those presets will carry over because technically they are on the disk. Thoughts?

I'm nearly done with the Argentina OF.

I found the source of the complete crash, it was the 20 teams instead of 18... so the Argentine league will be two teams short, not to mention that there are two of everything that involves Argentine teams in Libertadores...

Fuck Konami for that...

Anyway, my solution is to give the duplicated teams a slightly different name than the one in the "hidden" part of the game, and I am still arguing with myself if I should do the same with the players of the teams in question.

Arguably, it would be a good idea to leave those players nationless, or pick an obscure nationality without a national team to avoid even more duplication annoyances involving the Argentine national football team on top of all the other stupidity.

I am currently implementing the proper kits for all the teams, and I haven't made any players for the Libertadores suffering teams yet.

Yes, there will be pure kitserver and no quasi kits a'la PS3, and I am not sure if I'm gonna publish it because I don't want to have any pressure to do updates. When it's done I can send it to those interested, as is, with no promise of further updates. Kit slots are simply "stolen" from the DLC area, and the new DLC kits are implemented where the old kits for those teams were located and those teams are relinked back there. Thanks Konami, it made me feel bloody clever as this is the first time I actually do something like this... trial by error style! :)

Team nationality is set to Argentina for all teams, not sure what effect that will have but I hope it recognizes the WE league as Argentine in terms of Libertadores pool. The option was there, so it must have some effect...

PS. Squads are as updated as far as PSD goes, I have no CLUE about Argentine club football in detail. I have reduced all players on a global scale to be more or less equal in strength with the Brazilian league, as PSD tends towards overrating, while Konami tends towards underrating non CL top four teams.

PES League is converted to Bundesliga, courtesy of Anatolia, whom I blatantly exported everything from the league from... without asking. I also cleaned up the multiple clones of players they had made during the creation process.

I've not edited Argentine player appearances either, only added proper faces to those who already had them hidden in the original game files.
