The PESGaming Top Games of All Time List (2012)

After the unmitigated success of the 2011 PESGaming Top Movie List (found HERE), I decided that it could be interesting to compile a list of this forums users favourite games, but interest in that quickly died......with a revival of the original thread, thanks to [MENTION=161344]muscularmatt[/MENTION], 20 top ten lists of games and slightly less in terms of top three consoles were collected.

So lets get down to it, here is the list as voted for by the users of this forum (that cared to vote). In reverse order, the list has been separated into 126-21 and then more focus has been placed on to the top 20.

Titles were ranked 1-10 with number 1 scoring 10, 2 scoring 9 etc etc. Titles were then sorted by overall score, then by number of votes and then alphabetically.

Interesting list. Surprised that Gran Turismo isn't higher, classic game. I nearly went with No Mercy but opted for Attitude as I never had a N64 so only ever played it at cousins.

Whoever voted for Rollercoaster Tycoon, I salute you. I nearly had it in my top 10, absolutely love the game.

I was disgusted to see Attitude and Smackdown on the list, but no No Mercy, as the latter imo is just superior.

Then I had three lists in a row with it on and was relieved.

I completely forgot about Red Dead for some reason, although, I still wouldn't have put it as high in my list as I did with the likes of BioShock, San Andreas, COD4, Gran Turismo 3 etc.

Seeing the PS3 as the number one console isn't surprising mind given the number of users talking about it on here. I believe I voted the PS1 over the PS2 as well, however, the Xbox 360 over them both given how excellent it is online.

Age of Empires 2 and Lemmings are timeless classics. Driver 2 was fucking awesome. The multiplayer cops and robbers was unbelievable. Whoever voted Pokemon should take a long hard look at themselves.

Age of Empires 2 and Lemmings are timeless classics. Driver 2 was fucking awesome. The multiplayer cops and robbers was unbelievable. Whoever voted Pokemon should take a long hard look at themselves.

I used to occasionally play Lemmings during school break times if the weather was abysmal and I could sneak onto a PC with a mate, and take turns.

Pokémon Red (or Blue) trumps Driver 1,2 and 3 though by a long stretch in my view. I'd even contemplate voting Nokia's "Snake" much higher in my list compared to any game within the Driver series.

It's nice to see PES6 getting a lot of love though!

Fallout 3 was second in my list, and for the first 8 or so lists received was only 1 pt behind RDR, it tapered off towards the end though
