i have posted this in another thread.

but for reference

right in we 10 (im sure this will work on pes5)

on player settings
choose to play as fix

but on the player settings menu....

you can keep pressing right (or left) to your team then when u keep pressing it you have the full blue, blue with icon or grey. make it the blue with icon and the computer chooses subs, as im sure you will notice you cant use change player.

this bit is for we 10
also when on the formation select there is the 'top menu'
do quick setting.
highlight what you think is more important condition or ability (i do condition and still play when even unfit) and auto subs while playing.

easy as pie!

Where this should go!!!

This is how I play fix on we10

I always play a few seasons normally, when I have won everything and go to player cam, the advantage of this is that the players that you have bought etc. have all improved so when you are playing fixed it is a better game.

My rules PS2 is the manager, so if I get subbed I watch the rest of the game (double speed of course) this also applies to injurys and tiredness.

Then you go to win everything as per..

I am currently 3rd in the league behind chelsea and man u, by 5 points with six games left, I have both league and champions league cup finals to play as well, its just nice aint it!

But where I would like to see this go part 1:

control of the cam, I would like to move it back slightly so I can see more of what is around

You start the game as a created player (16 yrs old) you play in reserve games or train until you are good enough for the first team (awarded score after game would sort this)

You play for your team, if you get sold you play for your new team, if you are good enough you get an international call up, and then you play in the WC, EC etc.

You only play when selected or fit, and the option to watch games or not

But where I would like to see this go part 2:

I would like to see this be the default for online play but beyond that the similar as above. you are a player and not a team, we all start with the same pool points to add to the default 50 so we can start with slightly diffrent skills, you stats improve with experience like the ML you start at sixteen and finish whenever but again like the ML you stats drop after a certain point.

You can be apart of as many teams as you like if reserves and friendlies can not be played (you might never play otherwise)

the option to watch games (other teams that is)

A league system, maybe with reserve teams

Moral rated on you last few performances, if you playing bad moral drops as it improves when playing well (again the player scores after games will sort this)

stats like positioning to be introduced, this would show how well you can play in your position, so if you a defender and spend more time up front then you would have a lower rating etc.

Tatic awareness this could be how could the player is at following the managers tactics.

Somebody would start the team and therefore be manager select tactics, players etc.

I guess you see where I am going with this, a virtual online football career, the aim of the manager is to win of course. maybe there could a be a virtual board (PS2) aswell so if the manager is not to hot he gets sacked and another from a list gets picked (could work with some thought)

So all the things that happen in real life could happen in the game.

Just a dream, but I remember when players did not that look like whom there was supposed to be and were all block figures that all looked a like, commentry, online playl multi leagues etc etc etc were all dreams too!

I forget to add my Hints n Tips

Firstly make sure that you go to screen settings from the in-game menu and set the stamina bar to "on" This shows your level of stamina during the game

Make sure that you this bar does not fall below a third during the first half (if you can help it)

you are not an house fly, stick to your position and play smart , running all over the place means your out of position and can reduce the number of opportunities

Make sure that the rest of the team have a good level of teamwork this seems to effect the how often they pass the ball (use the triangle button when selecting players this will show the teamwork with other players)
Can anyone explain the teamwork chart, I am not sure where the figures come from

Finally do not over use the R2 button, if you are in the right position you will get the ball

If you are playing this on PES5 or any earlier version you will love it on WE10 or I guess PES6 as you do not get dragged to the ball so much so collisions with teammates are few and far between.

I tried this Fix last night on WE10 but I just couldn't seem to switch it on. I was pressing the top buttons on the Player Settings sceen etc. Also glanced at the Help section but it didn't actually help believe it or not. Would anyone be able to tell me how to apply this Fix mode ? I've already bought the Player Cam in the WE Shop mind.

thats right, if you doing this in we10 it will change to semi-fix first

it goes throgh the levels of semi-auto / manual / semi-fix / fix

Tryed it for the first time yesterday, very good but when you get the ball and try to turn it is hard because of the weird camera.

Yeah the camera moves about a lot, hard to concentrate. Just tried it once so far, and I kept on losing the ball within seconds of getting it. Defo need more practice...

Heard the ball turning/camera movement has improved on WE10. It's certainly one of those things that needs to be tweaked to perfection if Seasbass's idea of 22 players online works.

I just can't seem to control the ball once my player recieves it. The camera does no favours at all, once I get the ball at my feet the camera seems to go crazy and spin round several times. I just end up running towards my own goal or it out of play. I've played 2 matches in the Fix mode with the Player Cam on, I scored with Ronaldinho but that was disallowed due to a foul previously.

If anyone has got any advice on how to play when recieving the ball ?

THe ball control as improved on WE10 in the game in general, which is obviously better for player cam games, what you do need to rememeber is that forward, or up on the d pad is always forward in the way that you are facing, or to be more exact towards the ball, down is away from the ball, if you press left, you will keep spinning left and not move left as seems to be the misconception, try dribbling in practice mode, remove all other players and just practice moving about.

One way thing which helped me when I first started this game was the R2 button. when you get the ball you can press this button and whatever movement you are making it will make you stop and face the goal. It is great when you dribble into arkward positions and can also fool an opposition player when they are chasing you and you stop dead, leaving them to run past you looking the muppet! The main advantage is that it eliminates the problem of bad co-ordination when getting used to the camera. As you get better you will use it less, or rather in better more useful scenarios! hope this helps!!

Awesome

Cheers Cooky

I tried 'fix' mode for the first time the other night, I found it to be a little difficult at first, I found myself running in circles and losing the ball really quickly, then I started using the R2 more to face the goal and beat the first player, then attacking and shooting at will, scoring some fantastic 25-30ydrs!

It adds a great new dimension to the game, the graphics are awesome and you really feel like you're involved in the game.

For begginers its a good idea to start on 2 stars, I did this with Gerrard for England in an attacking midfield role and it was great fun

Definately should be improved on PES6. Computers shouldnt let the side down now with teammates making greater runs off the ball and stuff.

Best way to play fixed, with 3 or 4 friends in a master league, controlling a striker, winger, centre mid, and attacking full back.

Tried this today. Very good and addictive but when I get the ball the camera pans horribly and I lose the ball and/or run away. Also, why is it that we've played 6 games and no-one on my team has sored except me (4 league 2 cup, which I'm quite pleased with)

I'm really pleased to find some like-minded people around here - I've played Pro Evo on purely 'fix' mode for the last few versions now, and can't imagine playing any other way.

I really like the additions in v6 that appear to add to the feel of this mode. I certainly find things a lot more challenging, and I'm loving every minute of it. Here's how I'm playing these days ...

- ML played on 'fix' using the highest difficulty levels.
- Default players to begin with, but I am allowed to replace three of the squad with players of up to the same value, and who are not contracted to any other ML club.
- Auto-Selection for starting line-ups, substitutions, and strategies.
- Formation: I have a choice of three of the default formations (randomly selected), and at the end of each year I'm allowed to stick with the current formation or chose again from three random options.
- I pick which player to control at the start of a match. If I'm subbed I just watched the remainder of the game.
- Salary Cap: This is based on my current Club Ranking. At the end of each transfer window, my Team Salary cannot be above my wage cap. This ranges from 8,000 to 20,000.

As with PES5, I found the going really tough to start with, but I've just completed my fourth season, where my cap was still 8000, and managed to achieve the 'Division Two Double' to my surprise and delight (COM-controlled 35yo Montella being my team's star player). I tend to play in midfield, and have found myself playing out wide more and more so far. Heck, I even designed an Excel spreadsheet to track my ML career, lol.

Now, my ML team head into the dizzy heights of the top flight, with an increased salary cap of a whopping 9,500, and me scrambling around to find players to bolster the squad. Tons o' fun already. :)

So, how are you fellow 'fix' addicts getting on in PES6 so far?
