Bayern München licensed, but... WTF?

There's something that really attracted my attention while I was checking up Bayern München's team players. Well, we are all glad that Seabass gained Bayern's license, but, even if my japanese is poor, but I manage to read Katakana well, I noticed that Ballack and Kahn (still after EA's FIFA 2002 World Cup) isn't there!!! How come? I just don't get this. Does this mean that, gaining a license does not mean that they can automatically use a player's name or appearance, and that a license just allows legitimate use of a team's genuine kit and emblem into the game?
Or there's the possibility that Ballack did not agree about using his name or appearance in the game because he believes what Beckenbauer said about him "going to reach Zidane's high level in this world cup" so he asked for extra cash from Konami, and Kahn still remember the days he was the best goalie of the world back in late 20th century? Well if this case is true, I anyway think that Ballack sucks, he's a good player indeed but no more than that, comparing him to Zidane is just too exagerated from the "Kaiser", everyone knows that ballack is just a strong shooter with a strong body period.
I'm sorry if my words were a bit harsh towards these players, but I this just gets me mad, even Ronaldinho is licensed, the greatest player of the world, and these players just have too high opinion of themselves.

I think Kahn and Ballack have their own licences and they can choose who gets to use it. Something along those lines anyways.

I believe it is similar to Barry Bonds, Michael Jordan and Shaq in the U.S. where they have licensed their own names and must be paid separately than the Players' Union or Association. Trance_Allstar is on the money.

They might also be looking at the fact that kahn might retire and Ballack is looking to get transferred to another team... who knows

Don't mess with Kahn

The LMA series have done the same thing.

I think I read on an LMA Manager forum that alot of game companies have had hassle from Kahn when they've used his name, given him rubbish stats or something like that so LMA always use a fictious name for Bayern's top goalkeeper to save Kahn coming after them.
