I google it.
Well you can play the Europa League but un-licensed. Konami has the license for the europa league. You can play it on Ps3 and XBox but It is obvious that they dont have the time and maybe the ressource and interests to introduce this on ps2 which is very bad because the sellings are running very good every year for the ps2 game.
I know. I also play PES2011 on the PC, and have played it on PS3. I find myself still enjoying far more the PS2 versions of the game. However, this might sound pedantic, but with the light blue/white layouts, the European Masters Cup pretty much still feels like the UEFA Cup to me. :erm:
Resources? How much time consuming could it be to recycle the next-gen version's layout/videos/adboards onto the PS2/PSP versions?
Also, the replacing of licensed boots with generic boots (most players wearing black ones) still puzzles me to this day.
I can't help but think all this is being done on purpose to compensate the fact that the PS2 version still plays a far superior gameplay and has more replay value than the next-gen versions.
I've been playng PES since 1998 on the PS and I've own every single PES game on the PS2. Besides playing the yearly next-gen version on my PC.
IMO Konami could (SHOULD! :angry
show us old-school PS/PS2 fans a lot more respect and deliver a better product.
I can't believe it's that hard to work those things over..
Then again, they messed up the Libertadores license so..
(At least the players should be available for purchase on the ML.. :erm
P.S. Hope they won't mess it up with the Portuguese League on the PS2/PSP versions..
/fingers crossed
