Daymos Elite PES2011 & WE2011 Option File V2

Hey Daymos,
Finally got my hands on PES 2011, let Xbox Live update the game, and came here for the option file. Followed all the instructions, same process as I used for 2010, but this time it's hit me with problems.

When I run the game and select my USB as memory source it starts going through the files and I get "Unable to load because data is from a different version. Download new contents to update them".

Now, I've no option to download any Konami patches/updates so what the hell am I doing wrong?

Hope some kind person can help!

with version 2 i think you only download the first two DLC's then once you have installed them and the file you install the third

I didn't get a choice what to download, the usual downloads option (when you click on PES 2011 in the dashboard) wasn't there after I got the Dashboard update. It was a blanket 'an update is available' option instead.

Is it reversible? In other words can I uninstall the third to get this OF working?

I'm not at my xbox at the mo but maybe if you go to system settings at the xbox dasboard and go to memory and delete it that way

Would your file work on an Italian xbox 360 with the eu pal game ? got a friends over in Italy who is desperate for an option file.

Manged to clear the previous blanket update, but it doesn't matter as when I connect to xbox live and fire in the game I get 2 choices......Download or don't download the update.

There's no choice of which Konami update to install, no details or anything, just download the 2MB update or cancel. On the old dashboard you had the opportunity to go into the game>downloads to select but that option isn't there either.

Can someone please help? I can't get just the first 2 Konami updates and therefore can't get this fab option file to work.

That update your talking about is a system update not a konami update

To get the konami updates you sign into your profile then load up the game..

Go to extra content and you'll find the konami updates there.

Download every update that's avaliable to you even if you think you've done it before.

When you do the konami updates there over 20mb in size and you will see pictures of the new boots and stuff.

Then when you load up the game it will say data pack v2.00

An XBOX system update for PES 2011? It only comes up when I load the game, and says it's an update for this game and if I don't accept I'll be signed out. And it does.....

iv'e having trouble getting my xbox 360 to recognise the file after i have transferred the files on to my usb stick

I have already configured the usb stick on my 360, and then use the xtaf to extract the file from my laptop on to the usb stick

My game is on the v2 update already so not sure what i'm doing wrong to be fair

HELP!!

Well I got the Konami updates to work, so thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Didn't know that set-up had all changed.

But, hit a brickwall on the USB transfer. The XTAF just crashes if I try to inject the whole 00000001 folder, is there a way to do it in parts, rather than 1 file at a time?

Anyone help?

Yes, simply create 2, 3 folders on your pc. Extract all 00000001 folder to the first one, then create an empty 00000001 on the other folders you created and move files from the original 00000001 folder to the new ones...

Thanks for your help, really appreciate it.

I actually got all the files on by injecting a folder with everything up to uniform190 in it, and then injected the rest file by file.

Thought I had it all in the bag, followed the process, but I have very few emblems/badges and no sponsors!!

I'm going to cry......:no:

Theres an issue with transferring all these files which I like to call the 228 error.

Basically you guys are experiencing some of this 228 error now.

As Wolf said.. you have to transfer all these files 1 at a time in 2 or 3 passes..

v3 has over 500 files so you will have to be creative in how you get all these files into your xbox without having any missing.


alternatively you could get the file into your Xbox the easy way where you can download my ready made file and follow my instructions to make sure all 500 plus files goes into your Xbox in one go.

Before I make Daymos richer with his ebay offer :lol:, run that past me in more detail please Wolf, if you have 30 seconds to spare. I don't understand how this is splitting up the files and how you can inject 3 different folders but I've probably picked it up all wrong.
