Dribbling problem help?

Hey all. Im a long time fifa player and I just got into Pes. Pes 2016 is the first pes game ive ever played and im really loving it. Its so realistic and the fact it has the champions league makes the game even more fun.

But I have a problem with dribbling and skill moves. Im a really good skiller on fifa but on this game it seems so hard to beat a defender. Every time I try to skill past him or what ever they dont react to the skill and steal the ball off me like I did nothing. All I try to do is speed burst past them and that barly works. Can someone let me know a skill I can use while running quick counter attacking to beat the last defender? Help? Thanks.

P.s: I dont hold the sprint button all the time im not that much of a noob lol

Fake shot is usually the only one which can get you past the last defender. It's done by pressing shoot button and then, before the player shoots, pressing the pass button + direction where you would like your player to go after performing the fake shot.

Good tutorial and everything but its the same situation for me the defenders stand their ground and when i get close to them to try to bait them in for the fake shot they dont bite and tackle me like usual. I give up.

Practice to perfection. The longer the pause between pressing the shot and pass button, the more likely is they'll throw themselves into the tackle.

I been on free training for like 2 days and exibition matches trying to figure out a skill i can beat the defenders. They stand their ground so hard like you move they move with you u get close at all they tackle me, its the most frustrating thing man.

I wish u could dribble left and right quickly at speed like fifa fast control. This games brilliant but the dribbling is kinda shit.

The fake shot also works in crosses and it's pretty effective. Dribbling is more accurate in PES, its not easy to dribble in real life too. Also, it depends on the players.

My friend says the same all the time as well. I always tell him use the fake shot, but I understand what he means when he wants to take a player on and use a bit of skill on the wing.

This is why I say FIFA is for kids, as you can take on a whole team with one player and use skill moves and score a goal, it's pretty simple.

With PES you need to break down teams using passing and moving, and use your football brain to get a goal. Albeit the keepers are garbage so you'll score more often than not, it's still a better way to play football, for me anyway.

it has been the PES concept through generations that
Ai detects the FACING direction of the player you in control,

timing your move would be important, and move or skill move should preform with def distance in 1-2 body distance away. (Too close would be end up to an interception, unless body balance&stemima like CR7)

Exp, attack from , if player facing direction straight with def, p1 move/skill move would result in face in ，is very high chance you would pass the def, but if the def in position slightly left to P1, it would end up in an interception, therefore, P1 can face(While not too close to def), def would move off from the left shoulder to be in straight line up , then perform the move to For passing.
Hope I am not confusing to you,
Ps. constant pressing R2 while dribbling would some great effect on shielding the ball on your player...
