This could be done for nearly all the logos, and because in game this is the main thing that represents the teams, for me it's gotta be as real life as possible.

I looked at this closely and it is correct to that image and many other examples I found.

This was a lookalike fake one on Wikipedia I came across with lots of issues...

- The apostrophe was not centred
- Lines are too thick
- Font is completely wrong style and size
- Colours are incorrect
- White fill with the blue shield is not even there

Please explain why you think it's not correct?

The logo at the bottom of the website link has slightly different in colours, but that's too small to work with for 256x256.

I ended up finding a very nice and crisp PNG wallpaper that I edited to be transparent and looks as good as to me.

They don't exactly have a standard version it seems, let alone a vector EPS or proper SVG, so that was the best option I had.
