Luckily i havent come across any of the pure scumbags that cheat in that way yet...only had a few ranked games 1 on 1 online but everytime the other person picks barcelona within seconds. Ive only had one match where we both picked normal EPL teams...i think it was like Everton vs Middlesbrough...that was the only game i actually won too ...I mainly just play legends mode so its all about being a team between users. My PES09 name online is Suv82 and my BAL guy is called SUVSTER. You'll always find im a team player if you wanna join me online people.

One question...Why the hell have Konami set it up so the person who is a blatant turd and disconnects on purpose gets a 3-0 win. Surely it should be the other way round...they quit and they concede the match 3-0. Surely it woulda been just as easy to set up. What the hell were they thinkin there huh? Not only is it total BS to have yor record tarnished in that way but to get a 3-0 loss for being ripped off by someone who cant take a loss damages your goals scored/conceded percentage too. So to sum up...Konami are just letting dirty imature turds who cant take a loss ruin honest peoples online games and records on PES09 which in turn glorifies the turds in the rankings etc....thats pretty disgusting really isnt it.
Is no game safe online now? In a time where online modes are becoming main features on alot of games its a sad situation tbh. Cheaters constantly gettin glorified and honest gamers get ripped off and sometimes put off playing online altogether. Very sad

I hope noone minds me ranting about my online frustrations...

I don't often post on the forum for whatever reason, but I can't hold it.

WHY can't I find someone to play against, online, who doesn't go Inter, AC, Man Utd or F****** BARCELONA!?!? Even when I host my own rooms stating clearly "NO BIG TEAMS", or I'll go my favourite team, Celtic FC with the room title "Me Celtic, You Rangers"...what do they do?...Go fecking Barcelona and what's worse is, I can't cancel out of the match and give him the boot.

I actually hate the sight of Barcelona and I'm sick of going Inter to give myself a fighting chance of a team playing 4-2-4 with the tactics of launching the ball up to Eto'o/Messi/Henry and just running past my players and across my goalkeeper, or whats worse, cutting the ball back from the by line across the six yard box for the oncoming player. Fecking cutback queens. HATE IT!

I'd honestly love to meet some fans here who are fond of going smaller teams with poorer stats and actually trying to play football instead of giving it to the fastest player on the pitch and just running your way past the entire team. I can't understand how anyone can derive any fun from that.

there are a certain handful of players who are lke this, forgot who it was...but i've come into contact with one certain player..who after conceiding about 3-0 to myself..decides to score some own goals and by doing so makes the game exit by default. really does p**s me off...forgot what his user name was...but watch out for him

I have to admit i have done this once or twice, when my players start freezing for some unknown reason, and theres no longer any point in playing as it would just be a shooting excercise for the other player. Although, this does not change the final outcome of the match, the other player still wins albeit by default and i still lose ranking points (so i'm guessing other player still gets awarded these points). Doing this just speeds up the inevitable. I don't mind losing if i've been outplayed but i hate playin for 20 frustrating minutes where you can't control your players.

I am by no means any great shakes at the game, but when this happens to me and it's shooty in, I just set in about the bastard and get the game cancelled by default, the 5 players off rule.

Obv a good player, but is just playing for ranking points, wanted a random premiership teams game (i ended up with everton)

He went straight for AC Milan and spent the whole game lookin for kaka to run an gettin in the 6 yard box before shooting!

I had fun with everton though an still tried to play normally an not just get boring!
