I have incurred "game over" in the PC version of PES 2009, after being 8000 point short at the end of the summer break, and I don't have any other save files that would allow me to sell a player to get out of the black, and I really don't want to lose this squad as it's been accumulated over several months of play. Is there anyway I could edit my master league option file to change the amount of points I have, so I can avoid game over? I can reload to the week before game over occurs, but I can't sell any players as it's too late.

release either a couple of your big earners or release loads of your smaller players. Remember players dont get paid until the end of the season, say you have Edwards and his Salary in 10.000. get rid of him and you'll be dandy.... thats the only way around it tbh. release players for free and sign them up next winter break

Ah, should have thought of that, I ended up downloading PES Editing studio and tweaking my figures so that I just escaped.

I got the same money problem that u had and i tried to start PES Editing studio and it wont run, i get this error:

I always make sure I have enought to pay next seasons wage bill. Its less stressful than having to earn enough each year to survive ;)

Total earnings - (Seasons total wages x2) = what you can spend (with margin for error of about 2-4000 [P]

Btw is there any way to limit the money you get in Master League? I've been limiting myself to 30000 [P] + Transfer money per season and its made the Master leagues last way longer, cos I cant just buy a team.

im always loaded, so i like to spend like 50,000 on 1 player so im no longer loaded etc...cant wait for the new money in pes 10
