SERIOUSLY MAN STOP ITI'd love to see these matches in your first ML season on superstar with any squad where you're beating the top teams 3 or 4 nil. Unless you are doing something like some sort of exploit I really don't think it's possible to go a full first season in ML on superstar unbeaten. (or there are people that play this game much more than I can imagine that use full manual and can just ping the ball around like table football or something and put the ball in the back of the net whenever they please)
I've been playing on Superstar now, but still keep winning too easily...not because I'm that spectacular...
All on superstar...because of the mechanics I spoke about early in this thread...
I believe I started on professional...I won 7-0 so went to top player for a few games...it was better, but it was like 3-0 average...then went to superstar decent score variation here. - these are things you said in other threads. Sounds like you need to get your story straight.
I'm not just trying to have a pop at you but if you're genuinely finding ML that easy on superstar difficulty then I think you'll be in a very small minority of PES players. Anecdotally on here most seem to be dropping down a difficulty level or so to get through the early stages of ML.
Anyone notice anything?
Before the update I was having way too easy on a time on Superstar/manual....
Winning by 2 or 3 every time, went 44W 2D 0L first season in Championship, with a FA Cup win, with the default Fulham roster...
Then was like 15W-1D with one loss to Crystal Palace because I didn't play, I did coach mode because I thought the game would be too boring....when my team lost I had 17 shots with 13 on target, and they had 1 header from a corner as their only shot all game, and won. I was actually happy with the loss, I thought it would make the table more realistic and fun.
Also went 6W-0D-0L in the Europa Group Stage...
The thing I was complaining about was I'm not that amazing at the game to be able to win so good on Superstar...
Since the patch, the games have been extremely tough....which I enjoy but in the most horrible way...
It seems the CPU is non stop slide tackling, almost every other touch...from all angles, and even behind barely getting any fouls, let alone bookings... 4 players injured in the last two matches....3 yellow cards total for the CPU....it's literally like a Machine Gun, non stop slide tackle, spikes up, fouls, injuring guys...
Also my team at 88 spirit is so much less responsive running for the ball, and getting beat easier at least 10x more.....this is cool, but not in this way, that they would gimp the user...
I'm not getting any more bookings than usual, but the sensitivity for fouls seems to have increased greatly. Barely bump into someone, the numbers for fouls used to be kind of varied but close and reasonable, now...mind you I'm not even pressuring, just trying to not get beat, the foul count was CPU 1, Player 14 in the last match...no offsides...
I'm absolutely cool and happy they are trying to increase the difficulty which is why I was talking about my w/l record, not to float my own boat, but to illustrate the difference.
But with the above things happening it's making the game kind of really suck at this point....just absolutely bombarded with slide tackles, injuries, no fouls for it...is not even a fun football game.
Anyone else notice anything like this? Btw with my record above basically no losses in superstar and very few draws...
In the last few matches I've beaten west brom 1-0, drawn with Norwich 0-0, beaten Stoke 1-0, drawn with sunderland 0-0, and drawn with QPR 2-2.
Before the update it was: Beaten Man Utd 7-0, Beaten Chelsea 4-1, Beaten City 5-0, Beaten Celtic 8-0, and then beat them again 3-1 in the other leg while resting starters.
Same players, more team spirit, same settings/difficulty...
Either I'm drunk and don't know it...or some crazy shit is happening
P.S. also the computer's acceleration seems increased greatly, you can't make a vertical run past any CB towards a through ball right now, also the two star teams with much more crisp and accurate passing, I will almost always lose the race to a loose ball now, and CPU ball winning is through the roof, so much range with their legs as usual, plus incredible success rate, very very difficult to overcome now.
I really do welcome the difficulty and challenge, I was hoping for a fun table, but in this way it's just really not fun and takes the whole realism out.
Ironic I was complaining about it being way too easy a couple days ago, and now it's turned into a fighting game a la Mortal Kombat lol.
P.S. I do love the way that the shape of the defense protects their zones and man marks now, it's much much harder to penetrate, but all the stuff above is a bummer.
