I actually went on to sign Cerny and Halilovic before reading the responses on here. Not sure how, but when I inquired about Halilovic they came back and didn't want a transfer fee. I know he's technically a free agent in the game but I did have to stump up for Sanches. I also signed Nelson Semedo at RB from Benfica. He was relatively cheap if I remember.

My final signing was Yussuf Poulsen, the young Danish striker from RB Leipzig. Again he's without a club in the game but did cost around £17m. Not sure if you guys have any experience with him but he's a complete beast. He's 6"3 with 87 heading, 87 speed and 89 explosive power. His attacking prowess, ball control, finishing, physical contact, jumping and stamina are all good too. His pace and ability in the air allow you to switch tactics mid match without resorting to subs. The only downside is he doesn't have his real face, something I've been spoiled with so far in PES 2017.

Actually I'm no so sure this year. I've seen the AI teams really pony up the cash for some guys this year.

But the game has a new mechamism where if the team doesn't want to sell after the first bid they will try to get an astronomical amount from you.

Tried to bid for Verratti with City...€142 million

which actually tickled me because it's pretty realistic in this day and age.

Since I dont have much of a budget and my team has players around OVR 70, the youth team has some good options (after the 2nd season started) with OVR 70 rated players.

Roberto Nunez.

He's a striker, relatively quick but good finishing for a 70 OVR. In my first season with Mallorca he's at 76 OVR now and the season isn't even over yet. He's scored goals but is nowhere near the top scorers in the league so it seems like he just grows naturally.

This is my team at the start of season 3.

The couple I signed in my first season which are now aged 21 ~79 rated are A. Rossi and L. Vido. (I signed them both at about age 19 rated about 70)
There is a few youth players and the other half the team are 16yo regens, I just signed. (Halilovic is the oldest at 22 in my team)

Nice! Regen Valeron has just appeared for me, but i'm trying to stay away from regens as long as I can, i've promoted a few and sold them all for the money.

Be interesting to see how Halilovic progresses for you, think he's got bags of potential and could be one of the best youngsters in the game.

Can't recall prices paid, but Pulisic and Dembélé relatively cheap.

Renato Sanches - Agree. Now rated 88 at 23 years old and still developing. Also has 'hero' status. Best played 'box-to-box'.

Laporte - Great ball playing CB.

José Gayá - 85 rating now but recent acquisition so could have developed more. Pace to burn and good stamina. Excellent LB or wing back.

Pulisic - Rated 85 and still only 22 in my ML. Explosive power now at 97. LWF and scores many goals.

Goncalo Guedes - Bought from Benfica before real life transfer to PSG. Now rated 84 at 24 yrs old. Quick, scores goals and still developing.

Jorge Meré - difficult to acquire at first. Now 23 and 83 rating. Looking likely to peak in late 80s in another 3 years.

O. Dembélé - Quick winger, great dribbler and scores goals.

A. Cubas - 83 rating at 24 so still developing. Athletic box-to-box midfielder. Great in attack and incredible in defence. Has the stamina of a porn star. 98 at present.

Special mentions to Bellerín and Lorenzo Insigne for being great.

Players that I didn't buy as managing Atlético Madrid but develop really well ...

Griezmann - Obviously! Has legend status now after 4 seasons.

Giménez - 86 peak. Strong CB.

Carrasco - Endless player skills. Many assists and great pace and technique.

Oblak - Not yet peaked and 89 rated after 4 seasons.

Koke - 88 rating for me at 28 yrs old. Brilliant passer. Great form. 'Key player' status for me now. 1st name on team sheet and captain.

Lucas Hernández - 83 rated for me and still developing. Great CB when on form.

Saúl - Versatile. Better in CM role but plays well anywhere. Great passing and stamina.

Ángel Correa. Scores and assists. Quick dribbler with close control. Currently rated 93 at 25 yrs old!

Gabi - Unfortunately retired last season but had 'bandiera' status, so played every game as captain. Team spirit rockets when you do this.

Jose gaya was a real powerhouse for me in pes2016. Hit 93 rating around 24 years old and was still developing. The best attacking wingback in the game.

By regens do you mean the youth players that appear based on real players and even look the same? I ended up with Totti at Liverppol.
