I tell you whats not funny, fifa world cup, just llost a game 3-2 to france on world class with italy, im not that great at these games anymore cos i dont have the time to hammer them like i used to, but this game was so fucking annoying, simply because the same old crappy gameplay from fifa 10 has reared its head.

What fucks me off about this game is the CPU AI, its fucking jokes, the AI ping pongs it about and hardly ever misplaces a pass, check the pass stats after a game, its insane de rossi for instance making 25/26 passes and the fact i completed 89% of my passes as a whole, that doesnt seems realistic to me especially seeing as most of the teams i have played against have done this as well.

The CPU still bulldoses you off the ball and the game against france was rediculous, with Anelka running around like a headless chicken chasing players like crazy.

Too little error in the passing, its fucking laser guided still.

CPU AI still does these perfect crosses.

CPU AI is rediclously open to counter attack which leave one on one's

Not convinced about the goal variety.

Maybe im being unfair a bit here, but people were speaking about this in the same breath as pes 6, right now, i cant see that shit, the individality is not there i can do pirlo like passes with cheillini.

Going past players is still poor.

I was able to barge Players off the ball with pirlo and anyone who watches italian football knows that a load of bullshit straight away.

I caught Nicolas Anekla with Barzagli in a one on one.

Keepers are shit when facing crosses, my keeper just stood there whilst the ball went over him.

Defenisve AI is shit, my cb moved away from henry alllowing him to score a 90th minute winner (typical fifa CPU AI bollocks)

Right now, not that impressed, its prolly better than fifa 10, but personally, i enjoyed the demo more, i think its because EA ramped up the CPU AI pressure for the final game.

I might play more later, but right now, this is a waste of money imo.

I've had WC2010 for a few days now and sadly the player models are simply average compared to PES (this coming from a long time fifa man who gave up on EA after playing FIFA10 then tried PES2010...) I had hoped I might be pleasantly surpised by EA latest attempt but no... I will still play it during the next few months but compared to PES2010 with a good OF it is below par. Gameplay is smooth and the stadiums look great but the ball feels strange and I miss the presentation PES do so well. Oh well... might need to flash my xbox360 and get Bollox's latest offering with all the latest kits etc =)

This is one of the post where i explain what i dont like about PES,

Pes 2011, where do you begin?

The thing is....every year were go through the obvious, and Konami do fuck all. Yet again this year seabass is promising another overhaul, its very simple, the al the animations need reworking, the AI needs reworking to allow games to be built up via the midfield rather than run fests though the middle, the movement needs overhauling because its still on rails, passing needs reworking as its laser like and needs little skill if any all, the camera angles are crap, physical contact between players is shit, nets are shit, transfers aren't up to date when the game comes out after fifa, game is too fucking fast in game atmosphere is poor...the same old shit people have been asking for, for years, and it never happens.

Also, i hope we dont have to go through the whole bullshit about builds, 50% build, 55.2% build, who's got what build and how the 100% build is a completley different game to the 99.999999999999% build.

The way information about the games reaches fans and the way the game is marketed is a joke, sites like WENB should be ashamed for the misinformation they constantly spread, remember adam's MIND BLOWING news for pes 2010???? what the fuck was that, cos he sounded like a retard when he said it, and sounds like a retard when you look back at what he said in retrospect.

All this secrecy from Konami, talk of builds, stupid updates on their website which tell you fuck all about the game.....its just so behind the times and inappropriate considering the circumstances they are in right now.

To be honest, seabass should do the right thing and stand down imo, i believe some of the pes nutters on this forum could make a better next gen PES then he has, he seems completley detached from the reality of what a realistic football game actually comprises of.

Unfortunatley below Sabatasso then went and embarassed himself by saying PES's game experience could be 'mind blowing'. I think even the most ardent PES fans would agree he is taking out of his rectum and not for the first time either.

The game experience can be just that, if you are able to ignore a few distinct flaws.

Basically, i dont know what Sabatasso has been blowing, but its not his mind.

The kits really are dreadful, with textures smearing down the arm in the pre-match lineup. Crappy fonts on the back that are too big. Only the top teams have their GK jersey, something FIFA has done for years and I don't know why. It's very lazy and ruins the authentic atmosphere.

Personally, i think the lighting and perhaps even graphics are improved over fifa 10. My issues are the gameplay, I need to play it more but im getting the impression that games against the big teams could turn into the 100mph ping pong games with CPU ai players bulldozing yours about the place.

The two critical things FIFA has to do this year is put error in the passing, the funamental flaw in modern football games is that they dont realise that unforced error in passing counts for alot of lost possession in games. In these games, its assumed to lose the ball, someone has to come and take it off you, but thats actually not the case, lots of teams frequently lose the ball completley of their own accord, this is what separetes the good passing teams from the bad teams. EA need to realise this.

They need to put this individuality into the game ASAP now, I believe there is a way to do it, but i cant be assed to explain the specfics when ea arent paying me lol. It doesnt feel right that i can dispossess the cpu ai with andrea pirlo etc, or that i can xavi-pass with cannavaro, this is why the PS2 pes master leagues were so damn good, if you replaced raul with shevchenko, you felt there was a difference (i believe pes fans exagerrate how much difference there actually was) between the players which justified why you spent the money in the 1st place, you just dont have that in fifa, or certainly not to that degree.

Absoulutly true, teams usually give it away 5-7 times a game because of sloppy passes, mor should be done that this should happen or you do it by not giving the correct pace or direction!

I don't know if you've heard about game tweaking, but it's not hard, it's quite fast to do on a PC and it changes the game completely. Before you say something like this: "whine whine but Konami should bla bla". The sliders are there for a reason, use them!
add stats tweak: +10 agility for all, minimum 75 response and shot power for all, +5 dribble speed and you got a completely different game. There's more but these changes have a huge effect on the AI.

I have always said that there are a few things that is completely wrong with pes2010, but I have managed to appreciate it despite that because of my tweaking. And you have the nerve to ridicule me because of my views?

PS. About game tweaking in general, I have not bought or downloaded a game the last five years that doesn't need it, it's a big problem in general that gaming companies provide a decent platform that the players need to complete on their own. Konami ain't any better than anyone else, it's many hours saved to release a half finished game.

Because FIFA prides itself on being authentic and in its way, it's sloppier to not have decent kits when a two-bit arm of Metal Gear Solid nail the kits they do have the license for. It's all about suspension of disbelief and FIFA's player's ruin it, especially as they use so many cut-scenes.
