Hard to Score PS4

I'm finding it difficult to score. For example a shot across goal almost always goes past the post. Somebody help! What am i doing wrong?:realmad:

if you 1 on 1 with GK use Controlled Shot hold R2 and press shoot button
from distant use player with high finishing ability and kicking power

Try shooting and as the player strikes the ball, pull the LEFT Thumbstick back towards your own goal. Oh my... I have scores some absolute wonders!!!

And the other guy was right. 1 on 1 with keeper, you need to do a control shot. It's all about timing and body shape / balance. I normally wait for GK to run at me the I do tiny little lob over the keeper. Very light on the shoot button.
