Lets dispell some myths.

Forget about the 360 movement for one sec, what else do you think the big news is going to consist of and why?

360deg movement is a big thing whether its in FIFA only or FIFA & PES so I'm with Tech on that one. Also its not going to be a game breaker if its not in PES either.
Take FIFA2010 for example, 360deg movement in the PS3 and X-360 versions, looks and sound like its going to make a pretty special game this year. Having said that, 360deg movement is also in the PC version of FIFA2010 and it looks and sounds pretty poor basically nothing more than a glorified FIFA2007.
Well all will be revealed soon enough one way or the other....

I hope a lot of this shit is true, people will say if it doesn't work properly it's alright because it shows they are making steps forward.
But that's bullshit. PES needs to nail it this year, no fucking about! Supposedly 2 years in development? So what does that mean for PES 2011? It's going to be a stop gap before another decent one in 2012? Or they'll go back to a 2 year cycle? I doubt that since there is undoubtedly more money in a yearly installment and that, at the end of the day is what it's all about.
I'm properly curious about 360 movement. I can't picture in my head how it would work, am I just a dumbass? I'd imagine, hopefully at least, it would show who the more skilled players are i.e. dribbling will be an actual skill now. No more srpint sprint 90o turn sprint sprint, and so on.

This is my opinion.
Any annoucement will be made on the offical pes website.
I think the one to watch is PESFAN, I hear they have the new code right now.
I'd be hassling their admin asap for anything info related.
But I think Gamescom Is when this shit will kick off for real.

360 degree movement is nothing new konami used this system in ISS and perfect striker on the n64 be it in a slightly cruder way but it worked like a dream.It just makes the game more fluid and the cpu will not have to assist passing and shooting or compensate for the limited angles.
What it will mean for pes is less restrictive movement and a greater degree of passing and shooting angles rather then 90 and 45 degrees,pes09 already has 360 degree movement when you defend the only time it switches back is when you have the ball.Pes09 already works by hitting 32 points but these are divided into eight hence 8-axis all konami need to do is interlace the newer animations with the current animation set.
It will probably also mean pressure sensitive passing and shooting and not overly sensitive power bars.
The 50% playtest already has pressure sensitive penalties.
Think about all the new stuff like the card system,tactics slider,looping header,a dedcicated trap button and 180 turns do you think konami are going to do all this and make the graphics almost to the level of a live broadcast and not ditch the ageing 8-axis system.
The right trick sticks not returning this year it will be use of the left thumbstick and holding the r2 to initiate the roulette and tricks.If you listen to the podcast on wenb adam actually almost lets the cat at of the bag by talking about the tricks and then back tracks to cover himself.
Also consider how practical it is to use the d-pad for quick fine adjustments of the tactical slider in game.It has to be accessed on the fly in match and the d-pad is perfect for this.

Its definetly 360 dgree movement this year,this stuff has been on the cards for the last two years,if you pay close attention when playing pes09 you can see already konami have laid the foundations to implement this in pes10 as pes09 and ISS are very similiar pes09 just lacks the greater axis of movement which is why pes09 is so glitchy and restrictive.
