Just started my 4th season, top player, this time with Milan after spending 3 years with Napoli. Began with Top Speed at 84 stamina at 81 and Dribble Speed at 78, which was nice.

1 season: Games - 29 - Goals - 8 - Assist - 3 - Rating - 6.25

Awards so far:

So, so far it's been a good BAL game imo, I'm so glad I stayed with Napoli for that 3rd season, didn't think I had a chance of winning the CL but it got to the 1/4s and we had Bordeaux, then Man U in the Semis, which we scraped through in ET 3-2 on agg. then faced Chelsea in the final, the same team we had in the group stage - then winning 1, drawing 1 - and won 3-1 in the final. Sadly I was injured in the semis so didn't get to see me run around the pitch fellating my fellow sqaud members.

I decided I'd had enough at Napoli, and wasn't going to achieve anything else so would take the first decent offer that came in, that being Milan, and what a mistake that was; sure I'm scoring very well, but their 4-5-1 formation means I am stuck alone upfront, they boot the ball upfield and due to my high speed and dribbling I do well for goals, but their system does not suit me, I like my new CF role (formerly an AM) and wish I had a SS to help, so I'll probably leave in the next transfer window, need a big club though, if I'm going to get World Player of the Year which I feel is attainable with this game, others haven't gone so well.

Here's my stats screen. I've got to correct myself though it was only 74 for Dribble Speed, not 78.

As you can see I played as a WF during the scouting game, it was a 10 minute game, got stuck as AM when I signed for Napoli. I did score a rebound and assisted with a cross during the scouting game. I was running around a lot when the ball was near, and I could influence the play, otherwise I was conserving energy at all times, just lingering on the right side by the halfway line. So I guess that explains the high stats in those fields.

If you are on PS3 or PC that your agility can't get better but only stays the same. It seems as though your hieght weight and position have an effect on it.

As for your scout game it seems that people, including myself, have started noticing that the better you do in that game the higher your overal stats. Also it has been noted that playing a long scout game makes a difference as well.

It seems to point towards yes. Not by much, but it's quite obvious really; during the scout match if you fail to make an dribbles and fail to make a single cross those stats are going to start low, on the other hand if you have loads of shots (but miss most) you'll still get a higher shot technique and power but not accuracy...see where I am going?

I can only assume that because I conserved energy in the scout game my stamina is high, I made a lot of runs (not all successful) hence my high speed but low dribble accuracy.

Getting someway through my 6th season now on top player, still at Arsenal and quite happy with them last season i won the league and champions cup and was most valuable player in both and top scorer in both. Played 47 matches and scored 33 goals and 6 assists, avg 7.29 1 hat-trick 33 motm and 6 MIP. Anyway this season i seem to be having a stormer Played 11 Scored 19 avg 7.54 2 assists 3 hat-tricks and 11 motm. Scoring seems alot easier now my stats are better it also helps that i have had good condition so far.

Keep thinking of leaving and maybe trying another team but Arsenal seem to suit my style of play. Finally got into the all time scoring ranking, still way behind Totti he seems to scored loads.

I'm at Chelsea and I won the league with them. We are ranked number 1 in the world and its pretty pointless now. Only thing I haven't won in the premier league is D1 cup.

I spent the large part of my career in Italy and for many seasons I longed for English football but now I've played only one season with Chelsea and Barcelona are already knocking at the door.
I played in spain for a season but didn't win anything. Thought of going to Barcelona but in the final weeks of negotiation, Arsenal came...

How I've longed for Arsenal but I want to win the spanish league first then see out my remaining years with Arsenal. Don't know if I'll get a 2nd chance to sign for them though

Only thing I'd recommend you do is change the camera, trying to run in a straight line when the camera moves is a bitch.

Fix the camera on your player (tele or wide) and then use the radar to see where the ball is if it is off screen. It works for me, others fix the camera on the ball and use the radar to move their player off screen.

^Having the camera fixed on yur player feels lifelike but hard to control. Thanks for the advice. I got better in training matches. I'm getting a 6.5 but I can't score. But I'm doing a great job in assists.

Being a newbie to this site I thought I'd add my two-pence worth.

Just starting my 3rd season in BAL on top player difficulty. First year was spent at Middlesbrough but moved to West Ham for 2nd season after Middlesbrough side finished 17th in the league. West Ham had just finished 5th.

Second season went alright with the Hammers, but their league fortunes plummeted, finishing 18th, albeit with good D1 Cup and European Championship runs. At the end of the season, I was called up to the Scotland squad for the World Cup and played well from the bench there, before being offered a deal from ranked 1 club Chelsea!!

Found the Chelsea offer to be somewhat of a shock considering the other teams vying for my signature were Middlesbrough, West Ham, ADO Den Haag and Sunderland...but wasn't about to turn it down.

Here are my stats thus far:

Season 1 - Middlesbrough - P31 G9 A1 MOM4 MIP7 Avg. Rating 6.25
Season 2 - West Ham - P53 G21 A1 MOM16 MIP15 Avg. Rating 6.62

International - Scotland - P5 G1 A1 MOM2 MIP0 Avg. Rating 6.60

Really looking forward to starting the third campaign with Chelsea as at last my player is reaching a level which can be considered decent!! Just need to get past Drogba, Anelka, Kalou, van Persie and Saha in the pecking order first.

Just for the record, my player is a SS, started with the following, and now has:

Top Speed 74-----85;
Acceleration 69----78;
Shot accuracy 70----76;
Shot power 71-----73;

hehe ... Yuo think you´re smart don´t you? Some another guy said same thing earlier ... but the truth is that my game crashed many times with auto-save and BAL save didn´t work after that anymore so I started to save my playing manually.

That of course gave me that possibility you are saying here :huh:

That´s why I can change my mind concerning transfers.

But if you think that you could do what you say here by reloading, I suggest that you try it and when you have done it post the results here.

Sorry pal but you´re totally wrong. I recommend that you´ll play the game instead of that you blame another gamers cheaters.

Also, after second season Chelsea wanted me to join (League c), but because I haven´t save my game I couldn´t accept their offer anymore, ( I saved my game after that) and there was remaining only PSV, Barcelona, Real Madrid and so on....

That´s why I choose PSV first because it was League c where I wanted to go but with Chelsea. I changed my mind because we didn´t win League but were second and I want to win League B too.

Hope you understand my reasons. :erm:

i was just reading the older posts... i was really wondering how you perform so well in top player in the first few seasons... really.. how do you normally play?? when the stats are so low... i'm on my 3rd season and i still dont perform so well.

I have just won the european player of the year award and thought having won that i was a dead cert for world player of the year but Fabregas won it bearing in mind he plays for Blackburn who never even make it into Europe... Anyone else had this happen?

Now I'm doing really great. I won the oppurtunity to be in the bench and I scored in a match, got a 7.5 rating and the MVP of the match.
Then the other match, GENOA (my current team) lost but I was the best player even though I was in the match from the 70th minute. I got the MIP award.
Then in the cup I scored against Inter and genoa passed through

My first attempt at BAL I was awful. Started as WF/CF, went to some bottom laeague italian club and didnt get make the bench until about 18 weeks. Scored about 2 goals in all this time including trinaing games. At first negotiation time I got offer from a club that was literally same ranking in league and just couldnt be bothered.

After practicing in training mode I Decided to start a new game in BAL again as a CF. My first scout match I scored 2 goals and one assist, and went to Aston Villa!, ranked about 7th. My first training game I scored 2 goals and we beat the A-team 3-1. Kept scoring 2 goals in each training match, then made A-team and scored onece, two assists and highest rating. Now Ive made the bench against Man Utd after 6 weeks! Need to refund my pro evo game however as it crashes when i try to start this game so will continue when I recieve my new disc. Looking forward to a good season though and hopefull call-up to Netherland team.

Are you playing as CMF or AMF?

I know exactly whats going on here. HES OBVIOUSLY PLAYIN 20MIN MATCHES WHICH CLEARLY GIVES U MORE CHANCES TO SCORE GOALS AND MAKE PASSES/ASSISTS. Therefore his rating will be averaged for the time he played. I play 10mins games myself.

i play right winger for athletico madrid, ive had to go throguh man city, everton, benfica, feyanoord and espanyol to finally get to a steady form which paid dividant. last season i got 19 goals for the season which i think is really good considering my position ive had a handful of headers. but whats good about my player is the way i use him..i make very intelligant runs and use his speed wel wen cutting inside the defence. i really enjoy Become a Legend tho i helped athletico win the europenas cup with 5 goals in that compatition so thats good...i signed a new contract with them for 1520 points so im rakking it in and we have the best striker in augero loool oh and i got my 1st england call up in the european championships but always had to shine from the bench...i was always able to maintain a 7 point average which was a total shock for me lol
