i turned on my ps3 today and i saw that i still in D5?

Ok guys! I ve been playing ML for a while now. I'm currently in year 2045 or so. I let Tomecak retire after buying him a long time ago and now he is available as a staff (coach). I'm thinking of letting palmieri retire as well but that dude is over 41 now and is still kicking and not showing any sign of retirement! Just wanna know if they ll be reborn in a youth or not.
