The teams from your league, and the teams from division 2 (I think) Will play in the cup.

Or it could be the teams from your league only.

I started my Master League with the default team under Manchester United and set them off in the Premier League (English League..)

Signed Saha and Quagliarella straight off, signed Shimizu, Fatecha and Palmeri from the youth team and my first team is as follows:

I started the Master League couple days a go wit FC TPS and ofcourse Top player ( player stats manly at same level with HJK Helsinki) and i have edited championhip in the game and started ML in division 2 with 16 championships teams and HJK and TPS


I have played one season (skip couple league games because league went badly) i managed to win FA Cup because in semi-final ManU but shitty players on field and that made it easier but though finaly i won 2-1 in final i got Liverpool and i managed to won it 2-1 with amazing play by me

And in january i managed to buy Lukaku,Asenjo,Van der Wiel,Stoch,Mata on youyh team i pulled palmieri CB 18 81 and schimdt SW 17 70 after season i managed to buy Bale and Santon(thanks to home game just before negotiation window close i didnt go bankrupt) and i got Hyypiä CB 17 75 Luis Fabiano CF18 77 on youth team and now i have only 100k money left and new season only 2games played

Just lost my second Europa League game, on 3 points now, play the leaders next game, thats going to be the turning point of whether I go through or not!

edit: Also, is there anyway to do contract extensions on this game, if so how? and is it that thing that says like '2/5' or '5/5' on their profile? Or do they not have contracts and just play for you until you sack them??

Im doing quite good. I created a badge and changed one of the fake team's names to create my own team then I got Shimizu and Palmieri from youth team. I got rid of a couple of players and sent Castolo, Ceciu and Valeny out on loan. I brought in Piatti, Eden Hazard, 2 strikers form fake teams and De Gea. So now Gutierrez and Ordaz are benchies.

I acually statred with the proper manutd squad i always do and will eventually make another with the defult players.

But right now i havent really achived anything finished 9th in my 1st season just basicly getting used to ML and in that time ive manged to get hargreaves to hate the club becuase i didnt play him.

I recreated my Santa Cruz Breakers team and decided to create a fictional league of teams representing cities in Northern CA, Southern CA, and Hawaii. The Coastal Premier League is my D2 League and plays under Barclay's Premier. I've just begun the Master League since I spent about 5 hours finding logos to represent the teams and made basic edits to all teams to make it more realistic. The one thing that keeps me coming back to PES is the ability to DL option files and edit leagues and teams!

So far I am 0-1 losing to Huntington Beach (HB). HB scored a crazy long range almost bicycle kick... I don't remember ever seeing this kind of goal especially from such a distance! My only goal came in the 90+ and was a high slow loft kick that initially appeared to most likely go over the net, but instead come back down and land inside the lower left corner!

I'm still getting used to the "sticks" since I'm a old school d-pad guy... But loving every minute of the game!

I played through my first season with AEK Athens in the Greek league. I managed to win the league and make it to the CL finals... and lose to Olympique Lyonais on penalties... Im have a great time. made some good signings with my CL cash earned.

Has anyone noticed the League rankings? Are they changing for you this season? Last years PES didnt really have dynamic league rankings for me.. which sucked.. but this years PES seems to update yearly. Which is cool. You really want your league members to do well in Europe so you're assured a place in the Euro competitions.

What I thought was strange was that most of the teams in my recreated D2 are in the Top 50 and my team is dead last... I like being last, but not sure why any of the teams in D2 what I call Coastal Premier would be in the Top 50 since our division is D2 below Barclay's.

I’ve had the game for a couple of weeks now and I’ve tried sticking with WE United, bottom of the rankings, no cash. Really got p*ssed off with that though! Every time I was building a half-decent side (mainly from my Youth Team players), the Sept expenses came off, I went into the Red and the game released my best players. Very frustrating.

So I’ve restarted with Division 2 edited to a British Championship (10 Scottish Premier and 8 English Championship clubs) and my edited team gets a kitty of £30m to start with (rather than the paltry £3m that WE United get). Promotion is to the EPL (which I’ve rechristened the British Premiership)

Much better with a bit of cash to spend. Signed a load of experienced players such as Michael Owen, Marco Di Vaio, Massimo Donati. Also three from the Youths. Having a bit of cash to spend on decent players has made it much more enjoyable, not a chore to play like when you’ve got nothing.

Will now turn my attention to buying good quality young players and will mould them into my side.


PS... Imdakine – the game makes any edited side pretty highly ranked. It just does that. If you want your teams to be low you have to start a ML with them as default, save the ML, and then edit them to how you want. They’ll still be ranked low but will have your edited details. Don’t suppose that helps you now though, but that’s the why and the how.

just started my 2nd season as arsenal, my 1st season was great, a real race for the title with man city, we were constantly swapping 1st m 2nd place but i manged to win the league in the end as man city went on a crazy loosing run at the backend of the season.
also won the fa cup with ease beating chelsea 3-1 in the final, sadly i got knocked out of the champions league by marsielle in the semis, vermaelen got sent off in the 1st leg at the emirates but i still managed a 2-2 draw, (a last minute walcott equalizer) but the defended so well in the 2nd leg i just couldnt break them down and the game ended 0-0 so i was out
made some amazing signings at the start of season 1.
signed joe hart and alexander pato at the start of the season, brought in cristiano ronaldo and micah richards on the january transfer window
during the summer break somehow i managed to grab messi!!!!!
im about 10 games into my 2nd season. playing messi as an AMF and he's banging the goals in, got a very tricky CL group containing real madrid, psv and psg but have beaten real and psv already and had a few draws in the league but no defeats yet.only problem being is that i have spent so much and once my wages and staff cost etc etc have been taken out i only have 5 mill left and need to have £125 million by start of next season or i have bankrupted the club, heres my current line up,

Started a fresh ML as Barcelona as my first one with Liverpool was just me learning the ropes and I had no clue what I was doing, now that I do however, I started a new one as Barcelona as I wanted to play Champions League from the off Signed Xabi Alonso and I am currently looking for a SS to replace Pedro as he is 70 ovr and the rest of my team are all 80+ so he is the obvious weak link.

Also, when a player wants to leave the club, what happens? Do you get a message off the coach saying 'Player X wants to leave the club?' and is that what is meant by the downwards purple arrow? Can someone explain the arrow system to me....? Cheers guys =D

I play with WE United, and I also started in Division 2. When you start your first season, you obviously will not compete in any european competitions. You need to finish in top 3 in division 2 to get your promotion to the PES league. When you get there, you need to finish in the top 2 to play champions league. I finished second with my team. So I came into the play-offs against Arsenal, which I lost, so i entered Europa league instead.

The arrow system is linked to your matches, a home match is more prone to give good arrows, and a away match is more likely to give you the bad arrows. This. I, think is a good way to give the home team an advantage.

Your players have a "happiness" meter. Which will in or decrease depending on a few factors. How much playtime the player gets, the positions he plays on the field etc. I've not seen a player asking to leave the club. The only thing I've seen is when a club comes up with an offer, the player might lose some affection towards you if he really wants to move, if you decline.

Starting In D2 with my "fictitious" Santa Cruz Breakers has been amazing... I really like that my D2 Division is made up of all fictitious teams representing cities in CA and Hawaii... My D2 is playing in the Barclay's Premier and so far has been a fun and challenging Master League. I'm not a fantastic player and get a bit frustrated when I feel my team should be playing a bit better as a team, but that is what makes this game fun... The more I play, the better I get. Trying new formations has also been helpful as it helps me develop as a player and better understand my players and team.

So far I am 1-3-2 and loving it... I'm sure I'll end at the bottom 5 this season, but am enjoying the experience!
