Into my 2nd season with PSG, top of ligue 1 by two points after finishing 2nd in first season. I also face Inter in the CL quarter finals, we are one of the dark horses in the competition but have confidence after defeating Real in the last 16.

GK - Ruffier
DR - Christoph Jallet
DC - Mamadou Sakho
DC - Marek Suchy
DL - Sylvain Armand
DMC - Matteau Bodmer
MC - Mvila
MC - Clement Chantome
AMC - Carlos Eduardo
SS - Dimitri Payet
CF - Melvut Erdinc

How's Mvila been? Was tempted to get him for my French influenced side, but thought he was a tad small to be in centre midfield where I like to have a bigger guy for nudging opponents off the ball.

Well season1 fizzled out to a mid table finish. The fans took early Spring vacations and the final two games saw a terrible return at the gate, which doesn't help the transfer kitty. The poor first half resulted in a team average less than a goal a game, so there's no where to go but up next season.

Luton Town finished dead average in 9th with 14W–6D–14L 32F 37A, but on the bright side both CB Palmieri and CF Riviere made the league's Best 11.

More good news came in the transfer market before the end of the season, with the capture of:
CF Carroll – Liverpool – Free
WF Matos – Fiorentina – Free (to be loaned out)
WF Lacazette – Lyon – Free (to be transfer listed and sold)
G De Gea – Atletico Madrid - £2.304mil

Once those transfers became official and they joined the squad, the team got back to work with another handful of signings of the cheap and cheerful variety:
SMF – Lanier – FA - Free
CB – Mancienne – FA - Free (to be transfer listed and sold)
SMF – Casarini – Bologna - £354k
CB – Baysse – Stade Brestos - £936k

It's not the classiest thing to do, buy free agents just to sell them on, but when you only have £210k left in the bank at the start of the season you need to make money anyway you can.

If De Gea is good enough for ManU to come sniffing around then he's more than good enough to be our goalie for 15 years and Baysse slots in at left CB to help shore up the defense. Once again attempts at contracted UK based players didn't do much for us, as the likes of Henderson, Albrighton, Jones, Ramsey all said thanks, but no thanks. Actually it was more like bugger off

With a season of hard graft under their belts, Eriksen, Giroud, Griezman et al need to get off to a good start. Time to see how the squad is coming together and begin the march to the Premiership!

been playing tottenham for 1 season and half, thght i needed sum1 to replace pavlyuchenko at the start of the season

well his OVR ratings isnt great, but this guy has been a classic number 9 for me, pair him up with fast decent striker, this guy scores from anywhere in the box

Final update of my third season.

4-0 Wigan. Bebe(2), Hernandez(2)

2-2 Chelsea (Cup after ET), Lose 1-3 on penalties. Macheda and pato scored.

1-0 Real Madrid(CL final after ET). Hernandez

3-0 Birmingham. Owen(2), Abate
2-0 Sunderland. Abate, Valencia
4-0 Ipswich. Bale, Bebe, Abate, Macheda
0-1 Leeds(1st league loss of the season)
1-0 Spurs. Macheda

So 1st season i won the league and cup, 2nd i won the treble and the third season i won the league and the CL(just).
Finished the season how i started. Not in great form. Abate finished the top scored in the league and overall.

I had a bit of a clear out in terms of wages.
Out:
Lindegaard, Neville, Evra, Evans

In:
Wijnaldum, Tomecak.

Also hopefully will end up selling Valencia. He is pushing on late 20's coming up to 30 and well not starting all the time so no point keeping his high wages.. being 92OVR he will be missed but i am cutting down the wages bill. Wijnaldum will be his replacement. Tomecak replaces Evra but will become back up... Fabio is number one.

Giggs is retiring the end of my 4th season and i think i might let Scholes go at the end of my 4th season or maybe hold on.

Mate he's starting to boss my midfield, does a good job as a slightly wide CM, this suits my play as I dont use conventional wingers. He's very versatile as well, peaks early and can offer something in both defence and attack. Really starting to see his superb pace as well, body balance is also up to around the 80 mark so his height is less of a problem. I recommend you make a bid, I am also building a team with a solid base of French players. Have a look at Marcq of Cannes as well.

I have started a new Master League now which feels a lot more rewarding and compelling. I installed the Daymos OF and have gone along with my local team Swansea City.

My first season I was fully focused on winning promotion and opted out of the FA Cup fielding a second side against Europa League contenders Sunderland. Throughout the season I was in the first, second or third spot fighting the title out with Cardiff and Burnley when about 3/4 of the way through Burnley drop points from about 4 games and it was just Cardiff and Swansea in the running. I managed to have the stamina in the league and beat Cardiff to win the league by 5 points.

Transfer Window for me saw Palmieri come in to the squad and also new signings of Aanholt as RB and LM Arda Turan bringing a spark of skill. I started the season knowing I wasnt going to achieve a high position in the league so I made an effort at winning the FA Cup where I went all the way and beat BIG Rivals Cardiff 2 - 0 where I was absolutely bouncing!

End of the Year I was 14th in the league selling Turan for £35,000,000 and buying Ternalbao for £17,000,000 and Coutadeur this CM. Criscito as my new CB too for £12,000,000.

Ha! I had Marcq on my scout list for most of season 1 - he might still be on it actually. I went with Kana Biyik from Stade Rennais, as my CB/DMF cover, instead of him as he was a few quid cheaper.
I was also thinking about Capoue from St. Etienne, but now I switched formations he'd be wasted as a part-timer/sub.

89cruefan: what formation are you playing? Trying to guess at it via who's on the scoresheet, but obviously thats not doing me much good :)

I play with a very attacking modified 4-3-3 formation.

Mostly its something like this:

---------------Hart--------------------

Rafael----Vandebuurd----Vidic----Fabio-

---------------------------------Bale--
--------------Anderson----------------

-----Abate----------------------------

Rooney----------Pato-------------Bebe

Bale plays as a smf.... Ando and Abate play mainly as amf's... With Vidic and Vandebuurd strong in defence it may leave me weak but i know i can usually handle it.

I rotate a lot between Pato/Hernandez/Owen in the centre. Macheda is used mainly in cup games and then starts occasionly in other games and usually becomes a sub... Usually about the 65th minute subs will be used.. Usually always Nani on for Bebe(or vice versa)... one of the stated strikers in the centre and then depending on the games coming up Rooney could be replaced by Valencia or Abate will be moved to the centre and Obertan/Valencia on then in a standard 4-3-3... With me trying to sell Valencia now its going to be Wijnaldum and Obertan who rotate with Abate.. Scholes occasionly helps out in the centre.. On the left side i usually rotate between Bale/Welbeck with Giggs occasionly.

With Abate scoring a shedload of goals for you, is he effectively the late runner into the box after the front three drag away defenders/create space?
Guessing with the vertically challenged nature ;-) of the front 4, its pretty much all on the deck?

I'm curious to see how your young players are growing..

Well i dont have any pictures but i can roughly give you overalls and what not.
Basically before i started ML i rejigged a few of the stats to represent the players right now... So basically Fabio and Raf i improved by 2 overall. Ando by 2 overall, Nani by one overall and just a little bit here and there (i did also edit it in respect to other teams too)

Anyway i am into my 4th season Oct/Nov time so here are a few overalls since then:
Fabio has climbed up to 84 OVR, Raf due to more game time has actually ended up as a 90OVR
Bebe is a weird one... i used the database to create him and well the gave him an 82 OVR normally so i took it down a couple... not that it made too much difference. Bebe is in my 4th season 86OVR.
Rooney doesnt grow much... i did up his starts by a little bit represent his improved accuracy and heading from last season but has gone to 94OVR.
Nani has grown loads and has overtaken Rooney and headed to 95OVR.
Valencia eventhough he has played a bit part still has managed to climb to 92OVR(possibly due to the fact he always manages to assist or score when he comes on.
Obertan in 4 seasons has moved up to 80OVR.
Welbeck has moved up to 84OVR
I increased both by 1-2 OVR to represent current form.
Smalling has increased to i think 83OVR.
Macheda has increased to 78OVR in the small parts he has played.

Thats the most part.

Onto my 4th season and once again a dip in form come the start of the season and even throughout sees the scoreline flatter the performance in some cases.

0-0 Leicster(sp)
4-1 Liverpool. Rooney, Wijnaldum, Abate, Macheda

2-1 Fiorentina(super cup). Pato(2)

1-0 Fulham. Rooney
3-0 Cardiff. Abate, Valencia,Ando
5-1 Blackburn. Pato(3), Abate, rafael

CL:
2-1 Roma. Wijnaldum, Valencia
6-0 Feyenoord. Ando(2), Abate(2), Hernandez, Welbeck

3-0 Arsenal. Abate, Rooney, Ando
3-1 Wigan. Owen, Rooney, Wijnaldum

5-0 Stoke(cup). Macheda(2), Rooney, Obertan, Richards

0-0 Bolton
3-0 Stoke. Owen(2), Nani
2-0 Birmingham. Owen, Abate

CL:
3-0 Rangers. Pato, Welbeck, Hernandez
2-0 Rangers. Bebe, Nani

2-0 City. Ando, Abate... One game where i could have easily won it 6-0.

1-0 Cardiff(cup). Hernandez (after et).

1-0 Spurs. Bebe
7-0 Swansea. Hernandez(2), Owen(2), Bale, Rooney, Abate

This season so far has been a very mixed bag... Luckily the wins take away and gloss over any bad parts... but performances havent been great... Inconsistent form in strikers can be seen and in many occasions Abate and Ando have saved the day.. Rooney has basically almost outscored himself from last season.
Lets hope the next load of game see a return to form and performance.

He can act like that or he can very much act like an early runner and almost end up like a second striker. I play Nani and Rooney on the wings.. Whats good is with the timing Abate and Owen get forward and its a matter of who is in the best space.
I have basically trained Abate with skills to sneak past the defence and make those runs... It pays off as he very usually gets the team a lot of important goals.
Yes it does end up all on deck.. It can leave me behind if they counter... but with the speed of Vandebuurd he will have it covered..

i have never played normally. I always play very attacking football and will not settle no matter what the scoreline.. In most games against the lower opposition i set a target of 3 goals a game(nice average to try get).
I think its now why when i watch England play i always get annoyed due to the silly defensive Italian style techniques sometimes.. lol.
Out and out attack just makes it more enjoyable.

So that was get off to a good start?
Season 2 couldn't have started worse. Schedule makers had Luton playing away matches 5 of the first 6 and we got off to a 0-0-4 start with 4 1-0 losses  1 missed penalty and a couple of sitters cost us points, regardless the football was piss poor and it was time to start formation fiddling. After 3 more mediocre matches a successful formation was found! The team hit their stride and after that terrible start, went 9-2-2 to reach the midway point in 4th place.

New arrow/Christmas tree formation

Apart from playing good football, there wasn't tons of need to add players, but a couple tantalizing prospects cropped up and were added. With Carroll coming of the bench at CF a pacier striker was required and with Shimuzu likely sold in the summer another wide player would help:
SMF – Autret – FC Lorient - £999k
CF – Paloschi- Parma - £1.069mil

For the first time, a transfer window had us making money instead of losing it as these lucky three were punted out the door:
CB – Mancienne - £1.388mil
WF – Lacazette - £2.242mil
SB – El Moubarki - £412k

The 2nd half saw continued good football with a few 4-0 victories and a rock solid 0-2 away win against Stoke City, the eventually winners of the league. The goals started to dry up down the stretch, but by only conceding 1 goal in our last 11 matches Luton Town won promotion finishing 4 points behind Stoke!
Not earth shattering success, but job done.

Luton Town 2nd 61PTS 18W 7D 9L 43+ 22-
Having 4 players make the league Best 11 further highlights the progress, although Shimizu had no right getting the honours over Eriksen who was 2nd in assists and top 10 in goals.
CB – Palmieri, AMF – Shimizu, WF – Griezmann (assist leader), CF – Riviere (goal leader)

Before the season closed, we managed to secure the following moves:
IN:
CF – Diego Costa – Atletico Madrid – Free (to be sold)
SS – Hoilett – Blackburn – Free
SMF – Jordi Alba – Valencia – Free (to be sold)
SMF – J. Henderson – Sunderland - £2.090mil
OUT:
SMF – Goossens - £1.189mil

Finally able to capture another young English player to go along with Wishere and Carroll which should give the locals enough options in replica kit purchasing :)
Now entering into the close season and time to see what other moves can be made for the start of season 3 :D

I'm currently in the Middle of my 3rd season with Cardiff City(got them promoted and now kicking ass in my 3rd season)

My Current team is
----Damjanovic(youth 88)----Maxi Lopez(82)
Abengalhor(85)--Kasami(74)----Martinez(84)----Turan(81)
Ruskin(77)----Paliermi(87)----Hudson(79)----Matthews(78)
------------------Marshall(82)

My Current Defense were all day 1 starters from when I started the ML, I also signed Kasami and Lopez in the 1st transfer window. So I basically have 7 out of 11 starters from my original team.. I try to develop my younger players and I've had success with it.

Maxi Lopez was a GREAT buy for me.. Only costed me around 3mil my first year and he's been a great scorer.. Scored around 24 goals in my 1st yr, 16 2nd and is on pace for a 25+ yr in my 3rd year. He has built my team.

Damjonivic I struck gold with as he was a 88 rated youth player at the start of the 3rd year, never found a player as good as him.. I have money to spend but I don't want to be cheap and sign a great player.

i see ur formation is very weak and u really receive alot of goals
u play with 3 youth DEF and they all stay in development and EKDAL cant cover with the DEF and ur wingers they cant cover too
and i really cant know how u can win by this tactics
