How are you doing in Master League?

Well I started out ML with original players so only got a real decent trainer and coach at season 3. Now the players are developing some stats like every couple of weeks. He's rated 80 overall now halfway through season 3 at division1 of Spanish league.


My setup.

Termou is DMF
Fuhren is CMF
Shimizu is AMF
Fuhren and Termou rotate so that Fuhren can substitute for Shimizu.
I also have Donati, Apono and Cana as substitutes for MDF, CMF and AMF
Mulgrew is my LB substitute for Mangani
Nilson is SS
Sanogo and Zamora are CF

Palmieri is sweeper, jaric and stremer are sadly still substitutes
Guttierez is a solid CF substitute but he rocks.

I play solid attack, pretty intense posession play with a lot of passing and due to the setup I have to play wide often when I cross the midfield. Strangely in gallery, playmaking is still at D with the bar not filled at all

Anyhow. I play at top player now, goes pretty well.
I top the ranking, some matches are really challenging but all in all I control the play quite well.
The only difficulty I have is after international matches, half my team's exhausted so they complain when I play them AND they suck + they complain when I don't play them.
Luckily they are all quite satisfied with the team.

I started with the default team aswell. I spent money on coaching before players, development was my priority, as I remembered some of the default team turning out half decent in the previous versions. Someone actually done a great review of the original ML team on here (maybe a year or so ago) but I cant find it now when I searched for it.

Anyway Palmieri is one to keep, he is over 100 for me now, and won european and world player of the year.
I don't get that one about the players complaining, it doesnt make sense they complain cus they need a rest, then you rest them and they complain because you rested them. I think its a good thing for the players to complain, but to be upset that you've been left out of one game after playing in all the others is stupid.

Sold a few players too like sessegnon for £24 million to real madrid,Horauo for £14 million and coupet for £10 million so i have loads to spend on the best youth players.

Ended up cruising through the Champions League Round of 16 and drawing Inter Milan in the Quarter-Finals. Won the 1st leg at home 3-0, but the away return leg is sandwiched between games against Manchester United and Arsenal, which means my last 4 games would have been Inter Milan, Manchester United, Inter Milan and Arsenal, which is a gruelling scheduel for my players so I may field a slightly weaker team for the Arsenal game as they are sitting 4th in the Prem currently and I can afford to drop 2 points in the league. League Cup Semi-Final against Arsenal is also coming up at some point, but it is not showing on my next few games on the scheduel so i'm fine for the moment.

I like to on average aim for 3 goals a game for most teams. For the big teams i will take any score.
Also a good performance with constant attacking and shots is a must for me.

In the summer i sold Valencia as he wasnt needed. Giggs retired and Palmieri went on loan.

Brushed Inter Milan away with a 1-0 win at the San Siro with a early goal from Fernando Torres. Bit dissapointed with the Champions League this year as only Manchester United, Juventus, Liverpool and Lyon are left. Thats pretty weak in my eyes. AS Roma knocked Barcelona out in the Round of 16 and Man Utd knocked Real Madrid out in the Quarters. Yet to see who I am facing in the Semi-Finals however I have a funny feeling it will be Juventus. Beat Man Utd 3-1 at home having gone 1-0 down to a Kaka wonder striker, but then Fernando Torres and Xavi pulled me back in front just after half time with Dirk Kuyt netting the third late on to seal the victory having come on for Torres. Next game is a league game against Arsenal before the FA Cup semi-final against Arsenal. I went out of the FA Cup at this stage last year and I am not going to replicate that this year! I'm going to keep my players fresh for the Cup game so in the league game I am going to field a weaker team.

Why did you sell Shimizu so cheaply? his stats are amazing in my 5th season, cant remember exactly but he's in the high 90's

Ya I know Shimizu gets really good, but I'm just not that keen on using him - as he is ridiculously too good to come from the default's youth team - so I sold him for whatever was on offer.
This is the first PES version where I've actually used him.

hi i want to buy pastore for my 4-3-3 system but no matter what team i chose he just wont come any advice?????

It can take time to get one of the young stars, it won't necessarily all happen in one transfer window. I tried bidding on and off for 3 seasons (team ranked 89th) for various players like Pastore, Mata, Pjanic, etc... and finally half way through season 3 I landed Pastore.

its on normal growth still dont know what the dynamic growths all about lol i tend to just throw players straight into the starting line up everyone in my first team were starting every game when they were 16 17 and ive defintly reaped the rewards

I do the same. Chuck them in and see what happens.

Eitherway after 3 years it does well.

I started playing Macheda in mainly cup games and sub appearances in smaller games... He consistently scored 10-15 goals for the first 3 seasons... within the first two his growth went up by one and then after the 3rd season he started to grow a lot faster

I wish! The top CF in the game on my Master League and not one offer, he has been up for 5 weeks now! I understand no-one wanting Poulsen but I thought offers would come flooding in for Torres. Finding a striker to replace is hard though. I've had Higuain, Aguero, Chicarito, Ibrahimovic and Pato all turned down, and I am in talks with Van Persie, Gignaic, Benzema and Bojan. Hopefully one will want to come to the club.

Still no look on the replacement striker Looks like I may have to go for a young 70/80 OVR striker (perhaps Henry from the youth team, a re-gen of Theirry Henry!) and put Babel upfront with Kuyt, then spend whatever money I have left over on either a new player, or keep it and build the money up.

This could well end up being my team if no-body accepts my contract negotiations;

Using Pes Edits patch with the Championship, I moved Liverpool down and started a new game with the Default players.

Since atleast half of the Default players are old as stone houses, I quickly went into the youth system and signed 5 or 6 players, who all went right into the starting lineup.

I also "re-signed" Daniel Pacheco and Martin Kelly (who, along with the rest of the regular Liverpool squad were free agents).

I've had a good run so far in the Championship, 6 wins and 2 draws. But I'm lacking a profilic goalscorer, winning most games with only 1-0. Pacheco can't score if he had an open view, Schwarz is slow and Gutierrez is mixing good with bad.

I had him and schmidt in as my CB's from very early on, although Palmieri is a lot better than Schmidt, I have had no offers for him, but I have had a few high offers for Schmidt, but nowhere near the £125M offered for Shimizu.

It's not too hard to get your money up though, just buy young players and develop them, and your youth team, even if they're not that good you can still get a few million for them (when you sell them).

I bought F.Inzaghi age 18 for arounf £30M and by half way through the season someone wanted to take him on loan for a year for around £30M, which was nice

Oh sure, that's what I do. In season 4 I am doing alright moneywise and have a bunch of early to mid 20's players who are starting to get their values up nicely, so hopefully when they are approaching 30 I can shift them for a few quid when they are at their peak.
