How Did Ronaldo Make This 180 Turn? [Gameplay Video]

When Alonso made the final pass to Ronaldo, then all I did was press R1 and flick left stick upward toward the goal. But by the time Ronaldo received the ball, he suddenly made that 180 turn that set a great positioning to score.

But... HOW did he make that 180 turn? I didn't do anything fancy at all. Was that came from a certain skill card Ronaldo has? Which is it?

This also happened a few times to other players as well. Not that I'm complaining, but I'm just curious how to exactly pull off this one sweet skill.

You have to spin the left stick in a half moon position (or 180) as you are about to receive the ball along with R1, it's not 100% consistent but that's how you do it - the key is timing.
