How's your 'Become A Legend' going ?

Just started playing Become A Legend few days ago and its my first time playing it in Pro Evolution Soccer,but i really like it so far. So i'd love to hear how this game mode is progressing for you PES'ers out there!




So my fellow is Marko Ilić a 17 year old guy from Slovenia,Ljubljana. My position is Centre Forward and its my first season at NAC Breda,Eredivisie league. We are currently at the first place but others are not so far behind us. I am trying my best but the team is not playing very well,hope will get better in the future. I also just aquired new agent,the first one was quite bad. My beginning level was 56,now i came to 64. We'll see what future brings on,but i hope we end first in the Eredivisie,then some better club buys me.


I'm playing on Top Player btw,on pc (xbox360 gamepad).

Otherwise i was named best goalscorer with 31 goals in 32 matches!!

Also been called up for national team against USA,friendly match. I scored the winning goal.

We just started qualification matches for world cup,we lost against Wales 1-0,then against Island 3-0.. Its like my team is slighlty retard,they don't pass when i'm alone infront of goal,they suck in defense.. Then you see CPU AI on same difficulty doing wonders :|

My wacky Italian kid "Rubabelli" started his career at Roda JC and miraculously helped them to the Eredivisie title in the first season, scoring 4 goals from an attacking midfield position and making 8 assists, the most in the league, winning Player of the Year in the process.

Missing the food, wine & weather from back home he decided to accept an offer from Bordeaux, who had finished a disappointing 10th place the previous year. After a difficult start and failing to oust club hero Ludovic Obraniak from the AMF position, Rubabelli has now found his home on the left of midfield. (For reference, this boosts the overall stat from 66 to 74)

Fellow new signing Balazs Dzsudzsak greatly helped the settling in process by not being a complete idiot and actually shooting and passing at the right times, rather than running into defenders which the Roda players seemed to enjoy doing so much. Dzsudzsak & Rubabelli's partnership on the left of attack, along with Obraniak's creativity and masterful timing through the middle, has made Bordeaux an outside bet at the French title, with the team sitting in third a little over half way through the season.

There's been no word from the national team yet, but the Italians are strong in midfield, so it will probably need a good run in the Champions or Europa League next season to break through. At 18 years old though, Rubabelli knows he has to be patient.

As you saw i play CF and that position requires dribbling knowledge which i posses but can't have any use of it yet because i'm so low level right now (Overall 66),attack is 83 and dribbling speed is 83,everything else is quite low so far. Also there are so many stuff to buy in shop. Already made few mistakes but purchasing wrong "cards".. Which ones would be most useful for CF,which upgrade boosts and stuff like that ?

Otherwise on what difficulty are you playing and did you made your character based on you,because right now i'm trying to edit face on my character to look like me but its so freaking hard..:angry:

Thanks, that's kinda what I thought, plus the other one seems more like players at their peak, or at maturity at least, where as this is more like a story, which is why I worded my last post the way I did.

I don't mind pics M.ILIC, but as I play on the PC side of my computer, which is offline, and post using the Mac side, it's a bit of a hassle, so forgive me for not sharing mine for now. You should probably post your pics in the other thread too.

Last time I did a Become A Legend game was a few years ago and I did try and make the guy look like me but this time I just messed around and made him look a bit mental. Really long face with a massive nose and bright red mushroom head dreadlocks. Really short legs with fat calves and skinny thighs, really long arms. It makes him stand out at least!

Not sure about skill boosts for a CF. Some people would probably say Speed Merchant whilst others would cringe at the thought (see Online thread) I'm currently training up the one touch play card, that might be handy for you too. I've also been using the Keepy Uppy Ball to improve passing training and have purchased boosts for Ball Control and Shot Accuracy, which I use for big games and then equip the training & skill card for the days with no games.

I'm on Top Player by the way and am just playing 5 minute games. I'll up it to 10 minutes in a few seasons but didn't want to be stuck watching the muppets running into each other over and over again for too long in the early stages.

Also we didn't make to the world cup,i got red card so i missed game with Portugal(3-0).

Now there is a real chance that Udinese or Sao Paulo buys me,i just need to put my best show in next match.

Ps. Got 2 focus points,so i spend them on dribbling which is now 5.


Oh almost forgot to tell,i just tried Jenky Tool Editor and it fixed the stupid ai,now both teams play like real football players,still they make mistake here and there,but its allot better. There is also option for atmosphere,so when tuned matches became moree immersive,highly suggested!

Edit. Just played the important match against AEK Athens,and what can i say,they badly lost. First goal with my assistance then four goals from me,it felt like playing against some really really sucky team haha.

So the point is now Udinese is looking at me more seriously,same with Sao Paulo,but i think i'll go with Udinese when they offer me something,much better players in their club. Feels good.

How does skill boost work,it say that lasts for one year,so what after that,i need to rebuy it or what ???

Other people who have been playing for longer than me will know better, but I reckon it means that you have a year to equip it and get it trained up, which means you can unequip it when you want to equip something else, like I do for the big games. It wont take a full year to train up your new skill but if you don't equip it often enough you won't earn your new skill within that year, so after that you'd have to buy it again.

I assume that once you have your new skill, you keep it for your career.

Maybe someone else will confirm this for us or we'll just have to wait & see.

Tried Jenkey Tool Editor yesterday and it makes opponent AI and my,more realistic and more fun to play with,but at the same time opponent's ai is kinda not agressive any more and its very easier to go through them and score :/

Okey now i noticed there is a slider also for making CPU AI of opponent better then yours,i'm gonna try that

Otherwise we had match with Tunisia and we won,3-1. Two goals by me.

Nothing came from Udinese and Sao Paolo since my big game in which i scored 4 goals and one assist.


Removed the tool and tried the game on Top Player and its hard,but nice to play,only downside is horendoues team AI.. You say JohnSound that later on when you went to that french club team ai became less retard,right ?

Marko - I assume that's your name too and not just your player's? Yeah the AI improved significantly when I moved to Bordeaux, at least with the top rated players, there's still some idiots sometimes but overall the matches are much more enjoyable, I've got to think fast sometimes to keep up with Obraniak's clever passes.

I haven't used the Jenkey patch, I use the SMoKE patch so I don't know if it's compatible.

I've just finished my second season. My team were consistent, unlike all the usual big teams in France, so we finished 2nd in the league behind Toulouse, qualifying for the Champions League. I played 29 games, scored 7 and assisted 6, making the league's best 11. For some reason I've been made captain for the new season, even though I'm not in the top 3 at any position on the manager's rating bit and the previous captain Jaroslav Plasil is still at the club. I'm guessing the Manager's Rating page is yet another pointless Konami addition that has no purpose what-so-ever.

I'm now rated 67 overall at AMF but 78 on the Left, which is where I usually play.

Interesting,that captain promotion really sounds good,i want one to -. Kinda strange there is no info on how valuable you are,i was best goal scorer after first season (31 goals,second best had 9...). Otherwise the manager rating is bullshit right now,sometimes i play decent and get 7.0,then on other matches i really put show and score 2-3 goals,pass allot and dribble but the last score is 7.5 In my opinion it should be there at 8.0 + with that kind of performance. Otherwise you never told what happened after first season when you won in Eredivisie,and went to Champions League,how did you do there ?


On my side,i have first game for CL,against Benfica. But first i need to tweak the gameplay so its challenging again. After tweaking the gameplay,also found settings for "Sound" so i increased the cheerleading and its so much more immersive now :3

So to give input on game with Benfica,i put one of the worst performances in my football career,nothing went it,lost balls,sloppy passes and i could list more. At list had one assist for first goal. So its first half and we are leading the game with 2 goals then boom free kick and they score (But they don't score always now,i think that gameplay tool editor fixed that,nice!),and at the end of second half their !GOALKEEPER! scored goal in lat minutes with head from corner haha,first time seeing something like this



Ps. Question for you mate,lets say i win the Champions League,and now my club is richer,will they buy better players,can that happen with NAC Breda ?

I didn't carry on the game with Roda, so nothing to update you there, I stuck with the Bordeaux move and ditched the other one.

I wouldn't get your hopes up for NAC Breda buying any superstars. Yeah hopefully they'll buy more players but probably not as good as you're hoping for. It's better than it used to be in older versions of PES though. I used to get frustrated as my team mates got older and worse and the team bought nobody! Other teams did but your team didn't. Thankfully they seem to have fixed that now.

I upped my games to 10 minutes now that my player has developed a bit, with the hope that the games would become more interesting and because I was getting a bit fed up of so many 1-0s. Good move, there's still some low scoring games but a realistic amount. Sometimes I'm not involved in the play for longer periods but overall you can get into each game more.

Rubabelli's first season as captain is going great so far. The team is joint top of the league and the crazy Italian kid is scoring, assisting & loving the new responsibility. Leading the team out alongside Pirlo of Juventus in the Champions League he looked proud. I know it's only a few minor graphics movements but I'm sure there was a difference when he was standing there chest pumped, head held high.

That game was great. 2-2 away to Juve then the manager decides to take off the DMF and go all out attack. Bad move, it finished 4-2 to Juve. Next away to Sevilla was 2-2, then at home a 4-2 win with my favourite goal so far, a team effort involving Dzsudzsak, Rubabelli, Obraniak & the usually useless Diabate.

Diabate, from Mali, has been frustrating. He can score, but he doesn't time his passes well at all and doesn't like running fast, infact if you play him a through ball he'll get to it, but then slow down and then wait for the defenders to catch up and get goal side so he can run into them! Obraniak on the other hand is like a Polish Xavi, or maybe Fabregas considering his tendency to get in the box and score. Some of the passes he picks out are unbelievable. Him & Dzsudzsak are really making this version of the game enjoyable and addictive.

Agent couldn't get me deal with Udinese and Sao Paolo,even as interest was very high at the beginning. To bad because i'm stuck with Nac Breda and we started second season very badly. Yesterday was my worst day in all BAL carier. I lost balls,dribbled like shit,my passes were off and so on..

First of all second match against Benfica,we lost 4-1. Then against PSV,5-0. After that international match against Iraq with Slovenia,1-0 for Iraq. This is like worst nightmare for M.ILIC, he had so manny opportunities and screwed them all. I hope it was just a bad day for Marko Ilić and today he will return in his old scoring style!

This jenkey Tool Editor sure is strange thing,some games we lose 5-3,other we win 6-0.. Really strange because without this tool,and playing on Top Player,majority of matches ends with 2-1,3-2,1-1 .


Otherwise i tried again with Udinese and now with NewCastle and nothing,so i tried with Parma and i signed 2 year contract! I start playing for them on 1.1.2014,so three months are left in Eredivisie.

Nope not yet. I did get an offer from Bayern Munich though, the first offer I've had without having to go through Club Search. They wanted to triple my money but only gave me 15% chance of game time so seeing as money is only any good for the agents and the whole point of playing the game is to actually play the game, I decided to stay at Bordeaux.

Or, to put it in to the story style context...

Rubabelli was thrilled to receive an offer from one of the world's greatest teams, but money is not his motivation so he decided to stay loyal to this rapidly developing Bordeaux team who he intends to lead to the top and repay the trust they have shown in him by making him captain. Besides, moving to Germany would be taking a step back in terms of weather and Rubabelli has the long term ambition of playing in Spain, in order to explore all those fancy new stadiums

Now if only I could find the time to play the damn game!

I was already wondering where did you go,no posts from you for quite some time.

Installed latest SMOKE patch so fresh save was needed,so i made new character and look at it,i was trown at Eredivisie again. I'm in club named Heracles Almelo ,we are on top of the league right now,best scorer and assist is me,with 8 goals and 4 assists.


I even found voice commentary for my name,Branko Ilič. So i downloaded FIFA commentary in which they only say ILIČ haha,very nice
