I've just turned off my PS3 because i was close to smashing up my bedroom due to this game. I'm dissapointed with this game - I've always been a massive PES fan sine the original but im considering getting FIFA. Heres a few reasons why I find it so annoying. What do you think? Is it just me?

• Online is a joke - the players morphing a round the pitch is really starting to piss me off - especially when u lose due to the opposing teams striker appearing in front of your goal from nowhere.
• The online interface is wank in general and just isn't user friendly.
• If your game quits due to bad connection it'll sometimes give you the loss.
• The commentarys wank too - surely there's enough room on those blue-ray discs for more phrases - and to say the right thing at the right time.
• It never plays advantage - it just gives you a free kick even if your through on goal - that really winds me up.
• When attacking you may want to make a through pass - however you cant do this when your own player runs toward you!!!!! Sort it for fucks sake!!!
• PLayers randomly freezing

There are more I'm sure and I think it could b a quality game if it wasnt so fucking annoying.

To me it plays like Virtua Striker on the same console as the guy above posted.... Its lifeless and rigged and feels like its on rails at the best of times.

so spare us your useless comments. Either be constructive and provide something to add to the discussion or keep your rants to yourself. If you don't know how to play the game or got bored of it because you've been playing nonstop since the release or just pissed off at the online then by all means pick up a dreamcast and play your virtua striker or uefa striker and just MOVE ON! you can even trade in the game for whatever you want.

Alot of these comments just sound silly and shows the level of maturity of some of the posters. Virtua Striker my ass. Does it even have 1-two or through pass?

It would be nice if there is a way to ban you guys from ever trying, playing, buying or even seeing future iterations of WE/PES cause you definitely don't deserve it. Then let's see how it feels to play Virtua Striker!!!

Haha very nice my man, what you are saying is very true, many have cried as if they were forced to purchase the game, it just doesn't make alot of sense. opinions are valid but unnecessary comments and rants are not.

only thing i dislike is the fuckin Weather in the Master League. Like 3 1/4's of the game is in the rain

I know its realistic being in the rain but its tooo much :(

Other than that, the game is perfect for me

This thread shouldnt even excist. Pro Rocks !

So far, i deem it a fail.

Barcelona are missing Eidur Gudjohnsen, FFS...

Konami are a bunch of incompetent c*nts. Always have been.

I only played this for a few CL matches last night, and i wasn't impressed.

This thread is for haters, or temporary ones, so i don't see why your comments are relevant in this matter.

Anyway, sour cuntness aside, i tried FIFA09 today, and after having played both a little, i deem PES09 superior, gameplay wise.

It definitely is an improvement, though i'm stil pissed off by Konami's lack of accuracy when it comes to rosters and shirt numbers.

Getting the CL rights, was a brilliant move, it must be said.

I haven't had this much fun playing Proevo, in a very long time.

Well that is a very educated analyasis, i agree with you there and i think we all feel the same, ( well most ) with regards to licensing and so on, but hey i will settle for gameplay with the hope we will obtain more licences and things later on down the line.

What is true and especially for those who having played ISS/PRO EVO for a long time is the standards in gameplay have dropped in the last two games.That "feeling" of realism has gone.The physics of the game have changed probably to make it a more pick-up and play type of game.This is the 8th pes on ps2/ps3 and would not be in the top five games that i played over the years.Its an ok game thats all!

Ye i believe so, for example the computer now seem to be able to make crunching last ditch slide tacles out of no where, but are not able to anticipate where you are going to pass the ball and some occasions -_-

yup, sebass said that their goal was to make pes more of a game for everyone, thus making it a little too easy for top gamers and allowing 'lower' level players to be able to play better football..this is what fifa did for years and they reaped the financial rewards...(cant do both)

this is why some people are not 100% happy with the game, its taken some skill out and made it more obvious when the cpu gives you a goal on a plate.. i see my friend fighting the cpu to defend like someone trying to catch a bag of marbles that spilled out...i have said 'sorry' and 'that was lucky' to more goals with 2009 than any other pes..

Konami definitely got somethings right with 2009 but it is far from perfect (as some people think) its a good ps3 base point, but, and its a big but, there are 2 ways they can go with it now, and i'm scared the 'benjamins' will suck them down the wrong way, where i and i'm sure alot of football lovers wouldnt want.... i dont want a pick up and play i want a game i can master...!!!

Hes got no problem with people airing their views, its just when they come in straight away, after joining the forum 20 minutes ago,

shouting " arrrrr i hate pro evolution, its so shit, bla bla bla i love fifa nowadays etc etc etc"
