Indeed, people should be able to post their opinions here with out some doosh bag saying it's uneducated every 5 secs... the thread was not made to be some kind of debate between peoples opinion of the game(as that would be just stupid) there are plenty of other places for that..

this thread was made for people to air their grievances with the game, to vent some disapointment and maybe try and send a msg to Konami 'hey your slacking Konami....hmm, fifa?!?'

anyway back on topic, i hate the fact that they have made the passing more simple and stepped more toward an arcadish feel, games feel more fragmented and the sence of complete control has diminished... i would like to score a goal like robbie keanes goal against arsenal but my striker keeps stoping when the ball goes over his head..!!

no doubt that konami have made it easyer for new players to pick up the game i just hope they dont continue down this road..!!

when i am connected to a solid green green connection the game plays the same as offline but for very slight controller lag (same with any game) i make it my rule not to play less than solid green green conections...

it would be a good idea if you educate yourself by playing games with a solid connection before coming on here moaning and whingeing about how you hate the game online...

ps fifa can also lag if the connection is not good.. the reason everyone thinks fifa is better online is because the engine runs at a slower pace, thus allowing lower connections to run smoother..

What i'm trying to say is that its not the game its the connection speeds and hardware capabilities...PS3 and Xbox 360 is the first generation to have a real/full online conection base...if everyone who played online had the very best conections capable, we wouldnt be havin this conversation...

Even though i think Konami are slackers, i dont think that they are stupid.. they have had 2 years to get online right, but i think the lag problem is with the engine speed, why do you think they slowed it down...

if you have 2 connections fast enough to compute, the game runs fine

now pes could get slower still but then it just turns into a really bad fifa..!!!

its a funny situation because i can recall being online on my dreamcast on quake with no worries at all and that was using the 36k built in modem and yet with the broadband speeds we have today pes lags like fuck half the time must be something wrong with the servers or something

i do agree with the green connection its the way to go to get a decent half playable game online

I have a list of friends who i have added due to the fact that when we play each other we have no lag(within reason) everytime we play and we have played alot of different times... it's no worse than fifa...

games like Cod and quake have more simple engines that were practically designed for 2+ computers to connect to each other...

its an issue of sync, ping/download/upload speed need to be atleast good for pes thats for sure..

servers can run fine for some people...surely Konami arnt that stupid, why wouldnt they change the servers?? they must of tested before release?? it was the most important issue for 2009.

i just think there is something at the core of the game that makes it hard to sync the cpu's. Konami stripped down the game, made things play more simple and slowed down the play, they also spread and split regions and ltd the number of players on the servers, why wouldnt they make them faster/better too????? maybe it cant support things like the dead reckoning algorithms etc.???

it's a boggle are konami really that dumb and just tryin to save a few pennys on servers, or is there more to the story???

Hmm i see where you are comming from but its still not excusable. Even my connection sometimes is on yellow, and then somtimes its on green, not to sure what is goin on with it half the time, and the other day i had a green vs green match and then half way through it was going crazy
