Ok thanx to Jimmy G-Force on evo-web I was able to try PES 2010 online last night.
And..............
Im in love with it!!!
I only played 3 games of which I won 1 and drew 2. Nearly won the last game 1 nil only for Torres to fire in a cracker into the top corner from about 25 yards out in the 87th min to equalise.
This is what I have noted from it
1. No lag whatsover (in one game the opponents light was flashing between red and yellow also)
2. The response times were slow at times but hey its the old demo so I understand that
3. The game seemed a bit slower online than offline. Dont know if this was due to the fact that the game was running off the cheap dvd that I burnt the demo onto and perhaps a bit slower to read. It did seem slow in the menu's coz of this.
4. Fifa 09 played a bit slower online than offline without lag so despite what people think this is a fact!
5. All my opponents tried to play football and it felt like I was playing a game of football in general. There were opportunities to score from both but not the adundance of one-on-ones etc that you see in fifa.
I hope the final release is better when released and from the videos it looks to be. I also hope that lag doesnt kick in when the servers are flooded with peeps come Friday.
All in all I think Konami may have got it right this year.
To me, the game plays brilliant
If anyone wants to know how to play the demo online register your interest here and I will post up links of how to get it
