It will be easy for me to make a US OF but I need an empty US option file... If someone have one, i will do a US version for my OF.

If you have a US version of PES 2008, start a new game and create a new OF. So after that, with a maxdrive or by another way put the OF on a USB key and upload it for example with FileFront.

Since the download links were dead, I've reuploaded my OF for this lost gem (in my opinion the best PES on the PS2).
I've also recently improved my file. See the first post for the release notes.

I've done small updates in my OF :
- Nou Camp has been renamed Camp Nou
- Cuito Cuanavale, Blautraum Stadion and Amerigo Atlantis restored to their original names since I think these are fake / invented stadiums
- Update for Ukraine kit : position of the emblem + GK kits upgraded.
The attachments in the first post are updated.

I've updated my OF by :
- Adding Mario Balotelli as usable player in Master League mode (he has been created based on his stats and appeareance in J. League Winning Eleven 2009 Club Championship)
- Adjusting the age of all J. League players created based on their birthdate and the release date of PES 2008 so that they all have their correct age at 26-Oct-2007 (the release date of PES 2008) like the other players of the game
- Small fixes in some J. League player names
All changes have been included in the PSP version too.

Locked : you'll have to earn the PES points to unlock yourself the items in the PES shop (classic teams, ...).
Unlocked : everything (classic players, classic/hidden players, bonus stadiums, ...) is already available.

Are you actually playing on a PS2 or an emulator? I cannot play the PSP version anymore. How many teams are in the Master League division 1 and 2 on PS2?
I downloaded a PS3 emulator and I don't think the gameplay is that bad. ML for PES 2008 on PS3 has 20 clubs in division 1 and 2 but I don't think you can use the Other League C teams in master league. It is hard to find option files for 2008.

Hi,
I play on emulator but successfully imported and tested my OF on real hardware too.
ML D1 : 16 teams
ML D2 : 8 teams
Only the league you're in does have a D2.
In PS2 version you can use Other League C teams.
I don't have the PS3 version so I can't test it on this support myself.
The ML on PES 2008 PS2 has too many bugs for my taste (unlockable players in ML even if you turn the setting off, the salary bug for Other League C players, ...).
So I'm planning in 2024 to create an OF for WSWE2008 (it's a Jap release but it's supporting English language) where these bugs are fixed.

I downloaded WSWE 2008. the bugs are fixed for ML salary in this game or J.League Winning Eleven 2008 Club Championship? Did you find a base option file?

Yes, in WSWE2008 and JLWE2008CC, there does not seem to be any salary bug.
The only OF I have are the default ones and the ones included with BillyKong patches (you can find them on EW).
After I've finished my OF for PES 6, I'll create one for WSWE2008 but the issue is that it'll have to be done from scratch as there is, to this day, no way to import stuff from PES 2008 in WSWE2008. It'll take a lot of time.

v2.1 is out !
This is a polished version of my OF which is now as good as it can be.
Download link and new screenshots are available in the first post.
Here're the changes / fixes / additions from v2 to v2.1 :
- King "Kazu" Miura is replaced by Luis Hernandez in PES Shop and Kazu's stats from his PES Shop version are used instead of his stats in JLWE2008CC.
- Duplicate players are re-assigned to their National Team because (1) they don't appear anyway in ML and (2) they can have different stats from their alter ego and the philosophy of this OF is to keep the gameplay (stats) as close as possible to the original option file. Their appearances and call names have been adjusted though.
- New players created for usage in ML : Serie A capocannoniere 2001-02 Dario Hubner (stats from PES Miti del Calcio have been used and appareance created by myself).
- Call names assigned to classic and hidden players when available.
- Removed spaces between letters when names length is greater than 4 characters.
- Gerge Pelotov is Georgi Petkov, not G. Petrov.
- Age of hidden player Tinga fixed.
- Hidden player Schkeirach is Lukas Sinkiewicz, not Marco Russ.
- First names added to hidden players.
- Japanese kits reviewed and improved (colors adjusted, sponsors added, ...).
- Roberto Baggio's haircut assigned to him.
- Bebeto's signature celebration assigned to him.
- Haircut and beard of Angelo Peruzzi fixed.
- Classic Italy kit made after 2002 kit.
- Konami typos in Man City players fixed : Vassel updated to Vassell and Jabier Garrido fixed to Javier Garrido.
- White shorts used instead of the green one for Mexico home kit.
Note : the updated PSP file has not been generated yet. It'll be done later.
