kenny: microsoft fixes xbox360s with ring of death for free and you get a month live.. i have sent my modded box with the rod to microsoft also.. they fixed mine and it didn't even have a seal anymore. i got it back 2 weeks later still flashed with a new motherboard with extra heatsink.. thats my experience

ok sure. its your decision<g> i understand the wait is long.. but they told me 4 weeks and it took them 2. plus i got it all for free and new motherboard with extra heatsink.. i don't know what your guy is going to do to fix it (maybe one of the temporary tricks like the penny trick(check xboxscene)). unless he has the new motherboards or gives you a guarantee it doesn't crash or a refund i wouldn't consider it. imho

all the 360 drives can now be flashed its just the hitachi 79fl and 79fk that can't unsless you solder a pass key 79 in which is quite tricky.
