It's going really well, the kits are basically all finished (still a few updates I haven't posted yet but I already made them), stats are completely finished (including the winter transfers), we are now working to finish the player appearances (it will include not only faces but also the correct boots and other accessories for the most players we can find). I'd say we are at least halfway through the player appearances (it's more than the progress count on the original post, that count is outdated by now). No release date yet, but we would like to finish it by the beginning of March

Hello everybody,

It's been a while since the last update, so you know what is going to happen: Time for a big update!

First of all, I've changed my picture here and also on Youtube. For quite some time I felt like I needed a more "customized" image, so I tried making something I can call my own despite having basically no drawing skills at all, and it didn't turn out too bad. At least it's mine so I'm happy ;)

Second, and more important, I've posted a video previewing the 16 teams from the Liga Portugal 2 that will be present in this Option File (the remaining teams from Campeonato de Portugal will also have a video later). A lot of those faces you see on those teams were made (or at least edited/improved) by WE_DP99_PES. I hope you enjoy it!

Here's the playlist with all the updated team previews uploaded so far if you want to check it out:

Also, many kits were added or updated, so here's the list of what was changed:

- Casa Pia: updated the kits with a new sponsor (on the socks), and added 2 new GK kits
- Chaves: added an alternative variation of the away kit
- Cova da Piedade: fixes on the home kit, and added a new alternative variation of the away kit
- Estoril: added a new sponsor on the shorts and made an extra version of the kit
- Feirense: added a new sponsor on the shorts and updated the captain armband
- Leixões: changed the captain armband a little
- Oliveirense: added an extra GK kit
- Penafiel: fixes on the shorts
- Sporting da Covilhã: added an away kit (finally they used one!) and an alternative variation of the home kit. Also added a third kit, which is in fact the away kit from last year, but as it is in their store I believe they might still use it this season
- Varzim: added the Solverde sponsor
- Vizela: added the anniversary sticker

- Alverca: changed the away (white) kit so it now will always show the name of Alex, like they have been using in real life (in case you don't know, it's a tribute to Alex Apolinário, a footballer who sadly passed away in January after suffering a cardiac arrest during a match)
- Benfica Castelo Branco: fixes on the kits' socks and shorts
- Fafe: added sponsor on shorts
- Lusitânia de Lourosa: fix on the stripes at the back of the home kit
- Olhanense: updated some details and added several alternative variations of the home kit
Praiense - fixes on the kits (on the away kit we are still not sure about the pattern, I found very little pictures of it)
- Sporting de Espinho: added several alternative variations of the home kit and also added the home kit from last year (which they started using again for some reason)
- Trofense: some fixes, new sponsors and GK kit

Almost all teams are finished now. All the 16 Liga Portugal 2 teams are ready, plus several teams from Campeonato de Portugal (3rd division). It's really close to being finished, so expect more news soon :D

Little update: I added a video preview for the 9 teams from Campeonato de Portugal. If you are curious about those teams now you can check them out ;)

Also, the stadium images' design for the CP teams was updated with a little fix, by WE_DP99_PES.
Real SC Goalkeeper kit was also updated with a little fix on the shorts.

The release of this Option File is really close :)

Thank you! It's really close, but I can't give a release date yet. It won't be out at least until this thursday though, we need to check something in the next Live Update before releasing.

No, Benfica B and Porto B won't be in this Option File, since the game wouldn't recognize them as B teams, and therefore they would play in the Cup, and eventualy be promoted to Liga NOS, so it wouldn't be much realistic. It's better to replace them with some of the 3rd division teams.

The Option file will be released tommorow, 28.03.2021, on Editemos PES.
There will be a video tutorial on how to install as well.

After 6 months, the wait is over, the Option File is available right now :D !!!

On that page you will find the download links and also a video tutorial on how to install. It's in portuguese, but if you can't understand or have any difficulties installing just tell me and I'll try to help you ;)

The method we recommend in the video is:

1 - Import the competition files, so all competitions are in their correct slots
2 - Install the teams from Liga NOS (marked as POR1) checking the 2 boxes (so you have not only the kits but also the player faces and boots, we updated and improved several players)
3 - Apply the Live Update if you want to have the latest squads/starting XI and things like that. You'll still enjoy the OF if you don't, we made the live update last week so it's still updated as of today I believe.
4 - Install the remaining teams of the 2nd and 3rd divisions (marked as POR2 and POR3), checking the 2 boxes as well.
5 - Move the teams to their correct league. Don't forget you have 2 teams on Other European (Estoril and Feirense) that you have to move to the new Liga NOS as well.

Some additional notes:
- Trofense is an extra team and uses the same slot as Praiense, so you need to choose only one out of those to import.
- If you decide to apply the Live Update later, you will need to re-import the teams from 2nd and 3rd division
- I choose to complete Liga NOS with Estoril and Feirense, but feel free to choose others if you desire, you can change that in the Competition Structure menu in edit mode

As for what to Option File to use along this, any should be compatible, as long as you leave out the 2nd Spanish division and Liga NOS and don't import the Spanish and German competition files from there (the .ced files for those countries' competitions should be the ones provided along this OF, but the teams themselves, the .ted files, can be from any other OF)

Just be careful if your OF has European teams overriding Estoril and Feirense, which occupy the slots of the fake Setúbal and Aves in the Other Europe section. If you end up replacing them accidentally it's no big deal though, just re-import them in the end.

I hope it's all clear now, but any doubts don't hesitate to ask :D

Is there any way to get the updated Roster for Benfica and Porto B ? Or any way to have them on created payers / free players so that we can move them to the A Team :) ?

We didn't create those players, I'll keep the idea in mind but probably we won't create them
