Stupid Tavares. I was quite happy with his build too. He could have at least had the decency to go before I went looking for his accessories. You happy with getting Holtby? He's looked pretty good every time I've seen him (admittedly that's like four times but still)

Adam Morgan - Liverpool to Rotherham (loan for 1 month)
Demba Ba - Newcastle to Chelsea
Rob Hulse, Jay Bothroyd and DJ Campbell have all gone back to QPR after their loans finished (Watch out for their numbers as they seem to have switched again)
Tal Ben Haim - unattached to QPR

I'll add Debuchy, Chamakh, Joe Cole and Espinoza tomorrow. This takes ages to do and it's getting pretty late now.

I've read we paid anything between £900,000 and £3m. Substantially less than the £6m that the "unbiased tribunal" set. The tribunal undoubtedly run by.. surprise surprise - FA vice-chairman, David Gill. Serves ol' bacon face right, he's kicking off in the press already, haha. Now they know how it feels. This one's for Berbatov. :tongue:

To be honest, I think Standard Liege owed us a favour because one of our youngsters who we signed from there a few years ago (Paul-Jose M'poku) got homesick and wanted to go back, and we let him fairly swiftly.

But yeah, I'm in the same boat - I've seen very little of Holtby. Reviews are positive though, and you don't become captain of the German U21's for nothing.. especially with the quality they have. I'm looking forward to catching some Schalke matches in the mean time now.

Do you think Holtby's signing means no Joao Moutinho?

I've added the players I mentioned in my last post and Djourou to Hannover on loan, Ji From Sunderland to Augsburg on loan, who I'd missed.

I've left off Maguire and Wellington to West Ham until I've worked out what the deal is with them.

PS I don't think I've actually said before and I can't rep you again yet but the transfers thread is boss and it's good to see a load of people helping out with it.

I would think so about Moutinho, we're pretty decent on the midfield front at the moment - far more desperate for another striker. Unless Holtby is just one of those shrewd Levy deals intended to make a profit more than anything else.

Maguire is more of a youth/reserve signing, I think.. and Wellington's loan has been agreed - the player travelled to England tonight to have a medical and sign it off tomorrow. Seems a formality.

And thanks man, it's a pain in the arse updating it and finding all the links etc. but it's helping me enough as it is without worrying about everyone else benefiting! Some people in that thread have no idea what a club website link is though haha
