Like the title of the post says, it's for us to post the combinations of stats we used and how much OVERALL we got, I think it's a good way to help people who don't get the new stats system, and I read lot complaining how about OVERALL is so low this year.

So far I created 1 player

SS - Overall 69 Overall but I know it's possible to get at least 71

2 points in shooting
1 in Dribble
4 in Speed

2 cards - Speed Merchant and pinpoint pass

* I had to restart maybe 10, 15 times until I get this.

71 SS highest i got but i rarely get a 70+.
All-rounder 2 shot 3 pass 3 dribble 3 speed

any1 knows good CF combination please?? n i still cant get any stats better than 68(LMF/RMF) so far even SS i can only get like 64 how do u guys make the high stats?? gosh its annoying

Me and Zano wrote good tips how to get an 70 or plus SS.

Concerning CF the highest I got was 64 :( real low

But the most important thing it's the stats, I give you an example, I started with 69 with another player I play until I was 21 yo, then I skipped all season until 34 yo and my player ended with 109 OVERALL but only 1 card.

It's important to sign with clubs with good training, in my League, Chelsea, Milan, Juventus, Real Madrid and Barcelona had all 19 training points, your player will evolve faster :)

its juz the luck problem i assume :(
yea the highest stats for CF i got is 64 as well which is really annoying unlike pes 2011 lol

Max Raiting what i see was 76 CMF.


but this is bad. Becose all point in Pass and Power.

if you want a best CMF need to create a strong player with bad skill passing and shotting but with good body balance and shoot power.
And then all training points in pass shooting and dribbling.
finaly you get a best cmf.

Human Dynamo will give you a form of 8 in most cases. Having red form arrow makes you better, and it used to be about 12-15% on older PES versions, I have no numbers for PES12.

Form 8, Speed Merchant, Goal Poacher, Long Throw.

Top Speed, Dribble Speed, Dribble Accuracy, Stamina, Shot Power and Shot Accuracy are all just below 75.

Drawbacks: Poor passing, and low explosive power, although Speed Merchant makes somewhat up for the latter.


This is a highly effective player to play with. He may look trash, but since he is more often on red form than not, he moves like a cat and shoots like a pro. I am training hard on Passing, and split the rest between Dribbling and Speed.

Having Passing at 70+ is important so you don't give the ball away too easily, and you need to pass quite often. Once my passing is above 70 (66 at the start) I can start to focus other abilities. I will probably split even between Shoot, Dribble and Speed, (3-4 points) with a dash of power and stamina if able to. As a striker, I try to leave at least one point in all areas except defending.

I tried to remake this guy for the purpose of this thread, and I got another Speed Merchant with this setup on the second re-roll. And then another 5-6 tries after. So it seems Speed Merchant is quite frequent with this build. Form and Speed Merchant are in my opinion the two most important starter abilities, with 1-Touch Play being the next important one.

Using this guy in Liga ZON Sagres or Eredivisie will work like a charm. He will be ready for England, Spain or Italy in two-three seasons. At 19-20 in other words, which is quite realistic. I like to move to France in the second season and stay there until I'm 21-22, or until one of the really big clubs approach me.

PS. My point is, that overall rating is just a number. What makes your player good to play with, is not necessarily the same abilities that is favored by your position on the overall rating system. I'm having straight 7s and 8s with this player, Superstar level.

PPS. The very same settings as SS gave me 1-Touch Play, Speed Merchant and Long Throw. 78 Dribble Accuracy and 8 Form. And the rest basically the same as the CF. But overall a better player, as Explosive Power and Passing are both in the 70's.

The good old form arrow chart from PES5:



From this chart, a player with 70 response and red form arrow will be like this;
70*1.12=78.4 ~ 78

Yellow/Orange:
70*1.06=74.2 ~ 74

So that is what I mean by Form 8 > Overall rating
And Form 8 is so much better than Form 7 that it's worth sacrificing almost anything to be at 8.

Adding Speed Merchant on top, is like giving yourself the best possibilities of creating a future Messi without actually cheating.

With 8 Form I have played three matches with green (normal) form, five matches with orange form, and the rest at red form. I've played 43 matches in total, and those few times I've had blue arrow, I have been benched so far.

I'd like to add that if you manage to get 1-Touch play, Speed Merchant and 8 Form as a striker, you can play the poacher role in any top flight clubs in the game with huge success and great goal ratio. At Superstar difficulty you get very little time and space in front of goal, but with 1-touch play you can trap the ball and shoot in one fluid motion like Defoe, even if you got 70 Ball Control. I personally like to be more than just a poacher though, but I'm just saying it's perfectly doable even at 51 rating.

CF, "The Finisher", 1 shooting and 5 power or 2 shooting 4 power, this willnot produce big overall, max 63, but you'll be an instant threat around box because if you re roll it couple of times you may get Fox in the box, long range drive, 1 touch, speed merchant (VERY OFTEN). Hunt for 8 form.

SS, for this one use all around mould and give him 5 to shooting and 1 to power, you can end up with 70 ovr guy with 8 form and 6 weak foot acc and usage!! skill card are random, I didn't get consistent results.
