Which player impressed you the most on PES2008???

I am not on about superstars like your kaka, ronaldos, gerrards etc etc.

People less known who u have played with/against and thought yeah this guy is good.

I played with Micoud the other day and he ran the game, scoring a free kick and curler form egde of area, i was v impressed.

I know this is one of the superstars but Fabregas is really underrated. Worst thing is he hardly develops like he used to in the ML.

cesc for me is the most underrated by far but besides him robbie savage, bentley, diaby, babel, torres, kapo, richards, gordan, edwards, martins, given, keane, lennon and he is very underated but amazon on the game wright-phillips.

Fabregas is the most underrated player on the game, if you play with him outside of the Master League. If you have him for your Master League squad he is an amazing player. The same with Nasri.

Somebody who impressed me on the game was Agbonlahor, he is brilliant, though he isn't the biggest of names

The most underrated striker is definitely Forlan. He is king in the air, I must have scored a million headers and volleys with him. Haven't found any other strikers with his agility, except Tevez maybe but he is very short. I also think De Rossi is very underrated. He has great stamina, great speed, and a very powerful shot.

yer agbonlahor is brillian! great shot on him, so much pace, really useful on the counter attack. ive had a few problems with fabregas too...well underated in the game. torres is a dissapointment for me...

For the past 3 or so pes's ive always bought Gianpaulo Pazzini, hes a great talent and these days hes not that recognised for it. OP's post was a bit ambiguous, not sure if you want us to list players that shud b better in the game or players that are underated in real life but good in the game. Fabregas is obviously one of the most underrated players, Babel, Scott Brown, Gareth Bale, Philip Lahm as well. Players that punch above their weight include Pazzini, Heitinga and oh my god Owen and Veron!!! They are terrible in real life but for some reason Konami hasnt been watching them for 5 years and they just presume theyre still amazing (if ever they were in the first place)

Clause Jensen, formerly of Charlton and Fulham. I signed him for my ML team when I had a shit team, and he was the difference between gaining and losing points. He's a good passer, can shoot from distance, and a decent at set-pieces.

Maybe a little off topic but Patric Evra could have been a little nippier and aggressive in attack. Rio Ferdinand and Gary Neville are rocks in defence, great tackling and I don't think I have ever mis times a sliding tackle with them. They are both good down the wing and I can run the length of the pitch with them skinning the opposition. For defenders, they are very impressive in the game.

Torres and Quaresma disappointed me to be honest I was expecting much more pace and skill. Ryan Babel impressed me a lot just a shame about his shot accuracy because his power is great and he can skip past defenders. Odonkor was an amazing signing in my master league also Jerome from Birmingham was better than expected.
