I mentioned something about the gameplay "shown" in the trailer -- the trailer does shows a bit of gameplay, it isn't 100% animations and dribbling tricks,
And ignoring the latest trailer, we have seen little bits of gameplay in that other video-clip,
I have said more than once that, in my opinion, PES 2011 will be the best PES to date... and I have no doubts about that,
By watching the few video-clips that we have seen so far, reading the hands-on (early) reviews, you can say whatever you want, but I think I have a good idea of where Konami is taking the game,
"engineered for freedom" -- that's obvious enough, and will make something of a difference,
However, my problems with the game have to do with other things, things that have little to do with animations or passing; and so far, Konami has not mentioned anything about the areas that I care about,
Therefore, I am convinced that PES 2011 will be the best PES to date; but at the same time, I'm not really thrilled about it because the game will remain the same old BS at its core,
So in terms of gameplay, I am not really that excited about the "engineered for freedom" theme, I will probably end up buying the game, but I'm not thrilled,
And in terms of animations and dribbling tricks, I have already expressed how I feel about what was shown in the trailer; I think it could have been better, I expected something better... not the first nor the last time this will happen,
As for the "early days" argument -- really? that still works?
Perhaps I am judging too quickly, who knows, cool thing about it is that we will always get to see who was right and who was wrong about the game,
I stand by what I said earlier,
