Why care about special boot and normal boot as long as it loads........................ its something to do with protection codes in the games i.e some of my EA games require a special boot. I got my Breaker pro disk for £22 and that was for next day delivery from spain I'll add the link once i return from work.

Just to confim...

The Slide-card + Swap Magic disks, will only boot PS2 GAMES - (from back-ups and other Regions).

I have them, just waiting for WE7:I (Japan) to be released in a few weeks before I remove the front panel on the PS2 for the slide card. But is it of any use with a DVD movie - US region?

Or do I have to get 'DVD Region X' or 'DVD Region Free' or another similar product, that will work with movies? Are any of those products better than another? 'DVD Region X' seems not only to cost a little bit more, it also requires a whole memory card.

DVD Region x will play the import movies where as the Slide card will not.

I have the latest Swap Magic discs. Version 3.6.

I really need Breaker Pro though. Does anyone know where I can buy it from in the UK for less than £15? I can't find it being sold on Ebay either which is weird for a software disc.

You do know that you only need breaker pro if TOC size is an issue with CDR?

yes import games ie Japan and American games, u can play ps1 games on your ps2 so long as they are from the same region.

The useful propose of Breaker pro is it's disk size, near 800MB, which comes in handy for DVD rips if u use swap magic.

I know.

I need it so I can play all of my legitimate AVI movies on my PS2. I can play a couple of films at the moment with Swap Magic. But, I need Breaker Pro so I can play all of them.

So, does anyone know where I can buy Breaker Pro for less than £15?

Followed the above to the letter but it didnt work i keep getting a message come up saying "not a PS2 format Disk" any suggestions. Thanks

I have tried all the above as you suggest but my PS2 them comes up with "the disk is not PS2 format" any suggestions. Many thanks

I just got my Swap MAgic 3.6

I booted the disc, used the slide card, inserted WE8:LE, let it go in, locked it. and pressed load program.

Nothing happens and it returns back to the swap magic screen.

Is this purely because breaker pro? I don't know, I inserted the regular version of GT4 and it ran well through swap magic. I am disappointed because I can't play the game that everyone loves. Please, anyone have a solution?

Are you using a DVD version of WE8:LE? I have a friend who has Swap Magic v3 something (not the latest version) and his WE8:LE works fine. Most people burn the game wrongly and this is why it doesn't load. Have you tried other back-ups with your slide card/Swap-Magic? Do they work?
