i am dual booting windows xp pro and vista ultimate 64bit.

i started out with hardware much earlier than you , kid.

why i choose to have 4GB ram on 32bit OS?

i have nothing but money to burn.

If you had money to burn, you'd be using 8GB RAM, wouldn't still have the 8800 Ultra when it isn't the best card out - though was for a long spell - and would have the X7040. Plus, your X3350 wouldn't be running at stock, as you'd have a complex watercooling system in place.

Using a server chip at home...I have to laugh. There's having money to burn in order to get slightly better hardware and there's having money to burn in order to get equal hardware for more money.

My game has never crashed. Moz did you buy the game or download it? If the latter, I can give you the name of the best version out there.

installation problem

hi, i purchased 2 different copies of Pes 2009 for the pc. And the same result each time. Everytime i install the game, it seems to install, then when i double click the exe. a message comes up saying 'the game is not installed'. On the main screen only INSTALL & READ ME are highlighted. I've sent emails to Konami support at the start of the week and still no reply, typical!!. I installed and played the demo no problem.



Any advice?

My computer runs Vista 32 bit, ATI Radeon 2400, 2gig Ram. 2 duo core E4500 @ 2.20

I use to have that issue when I played a Legends match, however I haven't seen it in a while. No clue as to what fixed it.:ninja:

thank don sweey i Play using a resolutiion of 1280x800 and I use the tool to fix the save file and it work perfectly i can't thank u ENF fooooooooor the great help

don sweey, what do you think about fast gameplay problem?
a friend sent me a pm about the same problem and to my amazement his graphic card is 8800 gt! It means that I was wrong while blaming ATI. In addition, 8800 gt is in the list that konami put on back cover (supproted chipset list)
you have 4870 and play at normal speed don sweey, right?

I have the following setup on my Home PC.

Case - Silverstone GD01-MX
MB -Gigabyte GA-MA790FX-DQ6
CPU - AMD PHENOM 9550
GPU - ECS GeForce 9600 GT-512MX-P
RAM - MUSHKIN DDR2 4GB KIT EM6400
H/D - 2xSAMSUNG 500GB-16MB
PSU - CORSAIR HX520W
MONITOR - SONY KLV-S 40A10

I purchased yesterday PES2009 (and registered to KONAMI), and after the instalation, when i tried to run the game i got the following messages.

MSG1

MSG2

MSG3

I applied the official patch with no results.
I also updated GPU's and MB BIOS drivers with latest ones.
No improvement done.The same messages.

My OS is VISTA ULTIMATE 64bit (Genuine Copy).
The PC is conected to TV via DVI->HDMI adapter and the appropriate cable.

Is my OS/GPU incompatible with PES2009?
Is the PSU insufficient for my setup?


Can anybody give me some help?

Hi guys.. I have a problem when play pes 2009.. When i saved the game, it always takes so long. Over a minute.. But when load, it doesn't have any problem.. Anyone can give me a solution?? I've installed pes original, without patch..

I've tried to re install it. But nothing happen. It always takes long time to save game.. But no crash, i still can play it.. It seems kinda irritating. My spec is p4 2,8Ghz, 1gb ram DDR2, Geforce 7300 GT 256 mb, windows XP service pack 2.. No lags, very good fps, I hope anyone can help me.. Thanks.

Tried to play my first game.... and that's what happens. If I click on replay everything's fine, but not in game.

Not that is hould do anything - have you tried loading the game before applying any patches? Does reducing the graphics detail - not that you should have to - solve the problem?

Firstly, I've been through every post in this thread and tried every method of salvaging this game, but guess what everyone? No dice! Wooohoooo I'm another unsatisfied customer.

I've patched (110 and 120), reinstalled, changed resolutions and I have gotten nowhere, I'd dare to say I've gone backwards with the game now crashing at these points:

Cursor Settings - During a game in any mode instantly crashes.
BAL - Same as everyone, for me week 9.
Any Game Mode - Just messing about in the controls menu.

I've also found a new issue, I'm playing the PC Retail version, patched, using the keyboard of my laptop (specs below) and since the patches etc the game stops using my choice of controls, I edit them in the settings and they do not reset between loads/exits, but no matter what game mode I play they do not work; it makes for an interesting game when my only 2 options are short pass and long pass. 0-0s throughout a season is enough for the title right? No? Oh well. I flat out refuse to go and buy the xbox controller for windows just to play the game, then have it crash.

Controls issues abound. I was playing Champ League with Zenit. Crashed after Week 12 or 13, I don't remember which.

Played with Barca in La Liga. Week 12 - half of the time it crashes, half of the time it kicks off, but the controls are funky. I have a Logitech XBox controller which has worked perfectly before. Now I seem to be in a mode where I get to control certain players, but not the others (blue circles around the ones I can control). Too bad none of the buttons work - just the sticks and the D-pad. This started completely randomly - everything worked just swimmingly before and now it's like this in every mode. Also, the game dumps me to the desktop every time I go into the cursor settings.

Yeah, just avoid cursor settings altogether, it crashes mine too. I think the further you get the more players you're allowed to control. I haven't had the privilege of playing it long enough to know this for sure though. For example if you play an exhibition match you can select who on the field you control (try it you'll see) you can select all 10 field players or just 1 of them.

Sounds like we have the same problem. I'm just about ready to give up on this one and cut my losses. Although emailing the manufacturer is always the final chance.

I don't really know how I can control more than one player with the same gamepad, though...and e-mailing isn't really an option for me, if you know what I mean. It's a kickass game, much better than even 08 and I would gladly buy a legit copy, but somehow I doubt it'd help from reading this thread.

I bought a (pirated...shh!) copy of the game and have no issues whatsoever with it. :mellow:

Have you tried reinstalling the game?

P.S: We share the same processor. :happy: Have you overclocked yours? I haven't but will probably do so after.
