I suppose this is the place to post this:

I played a match of PES2009 in HMV (I assume it wasn';t the demo, since the game was 30mins long (I played about 10mins) and it was Brazil vs Argentina.

I think PES2009 is shit. Players are so less responsive than they were on any previous titles, passes continually went the wrong way (my only goal actually came from a pass that completely went by the player I aimed it for, but fortunately I had a player free in the space it went into), and through balls often went behind the target. Shooting is dire - particularly first time - and the fast players weren't the ones who had the best pace attributes, they were the ones controlled by the COM. Fucking shit. I would have gone back into Game (Id just been in to sell Orange Box) and cancelled my pre-order, but I thought I better give it a chance - it might be better once I've got use to this new system, maybe.

To give PES2009 a fairer chance, I am gonna play PES2008 all day today, to get FIFA09 out of my system (as a few times I moved the right stick for first touch, only for the new manual pass system to come into effect.)

I didn't even know it was out :/

Some good reviews by people that can be trusted, though some seem unhappy still. I'm happy with F09 for now, but I might loan it from a friend...can it be true that there are finally two good football games?

A shop has released it early here in Glasgow so I sent my big brother to buy me the game. He's not long back and I have played 2 games and I will be honest and say that I am not impressed. :no:

My first impression is that the DEMO was better....

Things just don't seem to click the same way.... I think they made a lot of changes in the DEMO, but then got cold feet and didn't include some of them in the full version...

You judged the entire game on 10 minutes? Have you ever actually played a PES game in your life?!

The youngsters of today are far too impatient, honestly don't you know by now that it always takes a week or 2 to adapt to the new game, it's the same every year. You don't like it at first, think it's shit, then once you get good at it, adapt to the new system, you think it's awesome, same every bloody year, so give it a chance to settle first;)

Just bought Pes 2009 and jumped straight into the masterleague with the default players.

I played against Rosenberg and it was 1-0 when they had their first shot on goal which was a cushioned volley from a few yards out from a cross.

I was suprised how well i could keep possession of the ball since these default players are crappy and i had a few shots which went wide.

Next tho i got a freekick 30 yards out and i wasnt even expecting to score but i got Jaric to curl the ball over the ball and it dipped low and went in underneath the keepers dive and i that gave me quite some satisfaction.

Tho i lost the game 3-1 in the end due to a deflected shot which went in off Libermann and a diving header when i got caught on the break i felt quite impressed as the AI definelty has improved its attacking play.

I also beat Pompy 3-2 with a goal in the last minute as the finnishing was clinical for me an the AI so yea I am pretty impressed so far and i like the pace and passing is decent.

Graphics also look nice on my 22" Widescreen monitor and the commentry is slightly improved.

I am playing my matches at 15 minutes a half as i get used to playing with more patient build ups and possession football, but overall I quite like this new version.

ive just stopped playing Pes there. The first thing i did was fire onto become a legend mode. Played it for 8 hours straight basically. I'm two games into my 2nd season, Newcastle came in for me there and things are looking up :)

I haven't expierenced the game crashing ** touches wood ** and i can see me falling in love with Become a Legend. At the start it can get annoying as your player is complete balls, but more you play, better you become obviously. I went from West Brom to Sunderland in my 1st season, then Newcastle came in for me

I've played 2 games at newcastle, and i enjoyed those 2 games more than the entire of my first season. Playing at the better clubs makes such a difference. You get the ball passed to you alot more without even asking for it.

I haven't touched any other modes yet, and quite frankly... i don't think i will today :)

i spent like 30 minutes creating my, soon to be Legend, was fun

HOW TO MERGE MP3 FILES to a single MP3 FILE:
-windows start menu
- RUN
-write cmd and go to DOS mode..
- put merge requested mp3 files to C: and name them as 1 , 2 , 3
- then in dos mode (c:\) write copy/b 1.mp3+2.mp3+3.mp3+4.mp3 FINAL.MP3 ...
- it is finished.. go and listen to FINAL.mp3.. all merged.. you can merge any files in same format (mp3/mpeg etc..)

Fuck it, I've just decided to get this game! Bring Fifa 08, Tiger 08 and Haze and see if I can do some sort of trade at xtra vision. Even if the matches arnt that great, edit mode should be fun. Jeeeez talk about a spare of the moment decision, see y'all online tomoro!

yeah man i think so, its easier just to fire in a picture of yourself though ... i spent most of the time deciding which boots to wear/long sleeved top :p
