PES 2012 - Your top 6 suggestions

as a fifa player i say this

1. Licenses - come on.... I mean, this would launch pes (again )!
2. GamePlay there are elements in PES 5 which aren't even in 2011, I mean ? Why change / delete a formula that gave you the greatest game ever?
3. Atmosphere? Not just the commenting, but also the atmosphere in the stadiums just need to be way better. I just don't feel like playing a footy game but like I am attending a funeral next to a footy match.
4. Realism ? At this point, the game is less realistic than FIFA. Why? The attack is even more scripted ... The attackers are glued down and well, the game has improved but still has a margin of error which is too big for the once praised PES.
5. Third kits - self-explanatory
6. BLOW my mind with something I nor anyone else ever dreamed to expect in any football game. And don't say what it'll be or EA 'll just steal it -.-


All of these changes, would make me switch back to PES. Really, they would do that immediatly.
Speaking of which, imma reinstall pes 5 untill that time comes.

I disagree not to copy FIFA's online modes. Copy these, they are awesome but their servers are not great.
Just copy these modes, improve them and just add your own online modes.

PS3 has blu - ray btw, use it?
Give the other consoles Downloadable stuff or two discs (one to install )

2. Option for domestic cup ONLY in league mode, no forced Champions League ect in league mode.

5. Bring back Konami Cup
6. Penalties must be fixed, camera should be behind the player and there should be a choice between using your side foot to shoot or a full blast with the top of your foot.

1) Improve AI, more defensively than any thing else.Things like keepers parrying better, and through balls where defenders just stand and watch, soooo frustrating! Also you still have mass chasing of one ball. Get some smarter marking going. Attacking AI is ok, they could react alot quicker, and when AI players get in your way and there no way near their correct position is just plain annoying. More intelligent runs from attackers, while making defenders look like there trying to keep track of their runs.

2) More animations. Make it seem like most players are doing something, wether it's looking around before they get the ball, small tugging battles, shouting at other players. Just make them seem more human. The stretching things before the game, loved it!

3) Physics and Realism. Most clashes still have the same animations, injuries are not specific to the type of tackle, or an awkward landing from a header. One problem i hated was the fact players like Terry can keep up with like Messi in a foot race, there isn't even a slight advantage. Don't go back to the "messi'll run past your team", but give some advantage.

4) Atmosphere. Make the crowd more responsive and ever changing. During the match in periods of good play do the encouragement thing all crowds do when your piling the pressure. Terrible run of form, some boos, or even cheers after a great game. Moans after a bad pass, ooohs & aahs after near miss . Have larger crowds turn up for bigger games with more atmosphere. All round the fields at anfield, or Arsenal city fc by far the the greatest city e.t.c. Let's face it, unless you get a pair that are together in real life, the commentary is never going to be very good. If you could get Clive Tyldesley with Jim, it would be great and fit in with the Champions league theme.

5) Bring back some stuff. Mainly the shooting. That was the best thing about PES 2010, with better defensive AI it wouldn't be such a major factor in goals. PES 2011's shooting is not realistic, shots will go all floaty even with no one around you. Make the scoreline and title screens more like a football programme and less arcade like.

6) Referees should play better advantages, give fouls for off the ball clashes and add some animations for him aswell.

my 6 suggestion and ideas for pes2012..

1) edit team - add tight kit to all team unlicence or non, bring more kit template that look real with the current kits design.( sometimes we need png because this worse)

2) stadium creator - improve more, pitch, turf, stadium design..

3) player face - improve face scan. add more real player face and can change their beard or anything.

4) trigger run - must add trigger run button!!!!!!!!!

5) penalty - improve penalty...

6) i'm forgot..

My suggestions relate all to the edit mode, since most people have already mentioned everything that is wrong with the actual gameplay or game modes, just a little note is, BRING BACK THE ROAD TO EUROPEAN AND WORLD CUP, it was awesome.

1 - Let us use more face area in imported faces, as well as more options, such as BEARD!!! and do NOT reduce the picture quality so much, for god's sake all imported faces are blurry and bad.

2 - More kit templates, in PES 2011 you have the same as last year.

3 - Let us put badges and sponsors in the back of the shirts, socks and shorts.

4 - More young player faces, its just ridiculous KONAMI has made faces for NKUFO (34 years old), I. JURIC (35 years old, already ended football career) and RIGOBERT SONG (34 years old), instead of making faces for COUTINHO and MARIGA, DAVID LUIZ and MAXI PEREIRA, ANTONINI and ABATE, SIEM DE JONG and VERTONGHEN, KAKUTA, CHICHARITO, WILSHERE. And KONAMI ignores other European teams like SHAKTAR, BENFICA and BESIKTAS. Where is LUIZ ADRIANO, JADSON, DOUGLAS COSTA, MERT NOBRE, HILBERT, TABATA, CARLOS MARTINS, JAVI GARCIA???

5 - Unregistred Player folder with all players that have a face in the game disc for ML, Bundesliga or whatever. Examples: (Makukula, Ziani, Belhadj, Van Nistelrooy, Adu, Bakary Koné, Arouna Koné)

6 - Finally, for god's sake don't make players disappear. AROUNA KONÉ, KROMKAMP and CLERC are still missing from their teams. ITS THE SAME EVERY YEAR!!!

1) Get rid of GP's. To unlock everything so I can play offline master league, Konami is forcing me to play ridiculous amounts of games online. I'm a relative newbie to PES, and it's really no fun being forced to lose 5-0 and 6-0 to players who've been playing for years just so I can unlock classic players. It's getting so frustrating that I'm almost ready to trade in the game and go back to Fifa, which seems to ba an inferior game.
2) The stadium editor is awesome...more options would be great
3) A tutorial video or mode. Fifa has had it for years, and PES really needs one. Again, as a newbie I'm being forced to go get crushed online to unlock anything, so at least show me how to play. The instruction book is virtually worthless.
4) Snow
5) Players actually developing in MLO. Since I'm forced to play it because of the GPP system, at least make youngsters develop.
6) Shorter online games. Once again...if I'm being forced to play online, can I at least limit my beatings to 5 minutes? I'm currently ranked 1376 of 1386 and just want to be done online until I actually learn to play. PLEASE just allow me to unlock stuff without being subjected to almost 100 games on online beatings.

1. COMMENTARY- they speak over each other and it doesnt match the gameplay. i really like Clive Tyldesley from ITV, he could replace jon champion and his annoying phrases. aslo, ability to change commentary language.

2. d3 league and more, even if unlicensced, first tier leagues for ML and BAL.

3. ability to mix and match between shirts, shorts and socks, like in pes 5 or 6.

4. ability to bid the amount you want to for a player in ML.

5. sometimes when i get a new pes game i dont really like the different menu styles that have been changed, for eg i really liked pes 5 and 6's master league menu. pes 11 is similar but not as good. also the in game menu of pes 2010 was very nice and clear, pes 11 is not so. what if you could unlock menus and themes from previous pes titles for each game mode. kind of far-fetched but still.

6. more realistic money figures fo BAL and ML.

lastly, bring back pie charts for community mode LOL

i have been playing pes since the very first one. with pes i have liked the gameplay and graphics and the ability to play with your own will.
however i dont like the fact that goalkeepers are not good enough.

For pes 2012 i think that you should include the following:

1. be able to edit all sides of the kit; meaning be able to draw on the front, back and sides of all pieces of the teams kit. Please dont keep it the same where it is only the front.

2. Please can you change the fact that you can only import images by using the xbox vision.

3. Can you please improve the goalkeepers so that they are better because at the moment they make to many simple mistakes.

4. Can you also improve referees as they also make silly mistakes that sometimes ruin the game when i am playing.

5. Can you make the pitches different sizes according to the teams so that it will suit their styles of play

6. Finally can you improve the atmosphere in the game so that it adds a lot more realism.

4. Online Master League Is Fantastic.. One Suggestion Can We At Least Start Off With £1,500,000 Istead Of £500,000 ?.. Just To Make One Decent Transfer..

5. In Regards To Licences Can We Get More. And More English Clubs Licences Preferably.. And Fully Licenece La Liga, Serie A..?

6. Also Can We Get A Mode Where Before The Match Starts We Can Practise Shooting One On One With The Keeper In Vertical View..?

There Are My Six Choices.. What I Want In PES 2012

1. No limits in editing. Emblems, markings etc should be as many as the user would like to use. Allow full editing in the whole kit. Back of shirt, shorts and socks should be fully editable and have the option to add markings. Also, Fellaini is not the only player in the world having this hairstyle...

2. Keep a more detailed log of the achievements in ML. It would be perfect to be able to see your match results in the previous year, including scorers etc. It's a huge part of the experience!

3. Bring back the choice of kit layout. I want to be able to pick different combinations of jerseys shorts and socks.

4. Improve the advantage. Make the referee remember to show a yellow card for a booking that was not awarded for the sake of the advantage.

5. First touch attempts are not always bicycle kicks or headers. If the AI thinks the player attempting is not good enough, make tha appropriate animation don't make him look like a clown who tries a bicycle kick from 35m away.

6. If you can't/ won't purchase more licenses, at least allow for the creation of new leagues and teams! Why do you allow us to create a player from scratch and you don't do the same with other elements?

1) remove the "virtual" wall the goalkeeper fall onto when they jump for the ball. it happens a lot of times especially when they dive to save the ball either near the corner line or penalty area or even the goal line. if there is chance to pass the line ... let them pass it with or without the ball (they could simply release it from their hands)

2) reduce the shot power when you press the "O" button to defend and send the ball away

3) make individual players movement alike the real player. check messi, arshavin, kaka, ronaldo ... all run run and shoot more less the same way in the game ... but not in real life.

4) weather conditions should affect the game as it progressing ... both the ball response while it slips on the grass or stack in water ... and players getting dirty. even rain could become heavy or light during the game

5) feints should only be available for players with high technique or overall rating ... and not all players should be able to perform all feints

6) referees should have names (fake or real ... doesn't matter) to be recognized and each referee should have rating ... for strictness ... easy to show cards etc.

1st -- get rid of the remaining d-pad roots... and change how the left analogue stick works: make better use of the left analogue stick.

2nd -- change the bloody defensive system... seriously, it's the same old broken bullshit, change it, replace it with something that has something to do with football.

3rd -- stop copying FIFA.

Have more variation of injuries to players on the pitch

Provide different temperaments to players e.g certain players have tendencies to lash out (rooney getting frustrated) or be able to do a dirty two footede tackle

to me, konami is still in the football business because of:
(1) Gameplay
(2) ML
(3) Editing





(1) Gameplay
- many other good suggestions in this thread, but also more player likeness. imo, the players are starting to look like fifa. i.e. less distinguishing features between players. Unless a player is REALLY tall or REALLY short, i am hardly seeing any difference.

- please, please, please! this is 2011 and by now, we should be able to create and save custom set piece plays (like formations).

(2) ML
- Logical progression seems to escape Konami.
Single player Offline ML (check!)-> Multiplayer offline ML (?)-> Community online ML (?)-> full blown online ML (check!). How could Konami jump from stage 1 all the way to stage 4? We need a multiplayer offline ML and a community online ML (i.e. play ML online but with select friends)

- please enable the full training menu WITHIN ML. I want to be able to test out my new players IN PRACTICE before playing games.

- 2010 was almost perfect in terms of difficulty in acquiring players and prices. 2011 is ridiculous. In 2011, I have the same amount of euros to start with like in 2010, but now players cost infinitely less. for example, I bought balotelli in 2010 for over 35mil. I just paid 4 mil for him in 2011.

(3) Editing
- We want a game with real depth, especially for ML (most major EU leagues, SA leagues, Asian leagues, div2 for the big 4 EU leagues). Konami needs to either:
a. pony up the $$ and get licensing for those leagues
b. create like 20 editable leagues so folks can do it themselves

- last night was the last time i will ever copy an option file for PES on ps3. I don't know what the experience is like xbox360 or pc, but the process on ps3 is simply ridiculous. individually copying 400+ files and 45min (thanks GTM!) after i already spent full price for this?. Konami needs to either:
a. pony up the $$ and get licensing
b. develop a new system for option files. Like ALL KIT DATA will be contained in ONE package called "kits", all face data will be in one package called "faces", e.tc. This way, option files can be as easy as copying just 4-5 files and be done with.

1.) Improve the penalties please! This is the only think (except licenses) that I miss from FIFA! They got penalties perfect this year, and I think PES could take that and make it even better =D
2.) Licenses, please please bring back the Liverpool FC license, and on that note, just get more licenses for the games.
3.) Nets, nets, nets!!! We need more nets on the game, i'm sick of being stuck with these stupid baggy nets!
4.)Keep the Europa league and Champions league licenses, thats a big plus to the game!
5.) More leagues! (Kinda ties in with more licenses)
6.) Keep making super games =D Seriously, you guys do a great job Keep on improving it =D

This years PES 2011 has restored my faith in Konami good job guys.

My six things to improve or change.

1. Bring back nearest man to the ball control !!!! this year the game gives you control of who it thinks you have passed the ball too and leaves you sometimes
having to press L1 quickly to gain control of nearest player.

2. Bring back the option to take control of one player or as many as you like, this stops the jumping from player to player controls (assisted option) if playing a 2 v 2 game, also it is hard to see the colours of which is your player sometimes when playing 2 v 2 now that the power bar has been introduced, the coloured circles were fine and easier to see.

3. Variation of injuries and extension to the amount of time they are injured as per real footballers.

4. decrease the computer constantly fouling by running into your player with the ball.

5. Community is a great idea for playing with friends, but please allow us to hold
the main competitions ie. Champions league etc.. within the community part then that gives us the comentary and experience too.

6. Far more extensive stats required for the Community part and the game as a whole.

Otherwise good job so far.

1. Bring back manual passes with right stick, this is the worse idea konami have had! who wants to kick it over there head and score a goal . . not me, right stick is for manual passes and manual passes only, why go like our rivals fifa?? it was the only differance!!

2. obvsly bring back the old penatly system or make a whole new one,
i can score 3/10 -ish, but stil needs sorting.

3. konami needs to actually play the game before putting it on our shelvs and askin us to pay £40quid for it . . .

4. i also seen a comment on here for 3rd player as ref! brilliant idea am on that boat!

5. bring back the old games in training mode! plus add the reset button back , really handy and lots of fun for brilliant goals!!

6. i personally feel PES6 was the best for game play, i would love that system back!

also change back the strategy button!! LT+ what ever button u use, changing to the back button was very very very bad idea, u have to let go of your direction its sad!
