the comments are very brutal! Does it look so bad? Enjoyed 2008 and then 2013, haven't played 2014 except the demo. What's up with Pes 2015. Should I buy it or leave it?
Most of the comments on the demo seem to be positive. I've been very critical of PES over the last few years, and I thought the 2015 demo was ok. I'm gonna wait for a while after the game is released before I contemplate buying the game, to see what people think of it.
what is your opinion about this game/demo?
Still has some of the same problems as previous PES games, but it's still fun at times.
care to tell me more about the problems?
Just the usual stuff. Some noticeable scripting (though it doesn't seem to be as bad as it was in previous games), crap goalkeeping, passes not going in the direction you tell them to go etc etc.
Nothing major. PES 2011 had these same issues but I still played the hell out of that game.
Are you not able to try the demo out for yourself?
Hi guys!
This probably isn't the right section, but I'd like to know (if anybody knows) which national teams are there in PES 2015?
I heard about some new entries like Armenia, Azerbaijan, Cape Verde and more: is this correct?
I really like the demo and will buy PES this year instead of FIFA. I didn't play PES 2014, so I can't say what's new or better than the previous year. The game itself just seems fluently to me and the AI is really challenging - I have to work hard for every chance. Like others pointed out, it's also great that you feel the difference between playing against Bilbao, Barca or Napoli or the indvidual strengths of players like Neuer, Vidal, Pogba, Messi etc.. I had no problems with goalkeeping so far, doesn't seem like crap to me. Another positive: Tactics are important as always and I just love it that I'm able to change the entire tune of a game with two substiutions or take specific advantages of the opponent's weaknesses (like overloading the midfield against Bilbao to escape their pressing and getting the ball forward quickly).
However, there are some negative points as well: Through balls are really difficult (which isn't bad in itself), but you can't switch players after a through ball is played. I had this problem multiple times - played a ball, the ball was much closer to another teammate than the intended one but couldn't switch. The intended player ran like he was on tracks and I could only helpless watch how the ball got over the line while I could have got it quite easily with my other player. That's really stressing. I have also problems to place shots in the bottom of the goal. I'm sure it's due to my inexperience after playing FIFA for a year (where you the shot button isn't as sensitive as in PES), but my players are ALWAYS aiming into the top half of the goal. Let's say it's not that easy for beginners (at least without shot assistance) to get that. Finally, I think the ref is a tad too generous, would like it if there'd be more fouls. He gets all the bad ones but seriously - players are fighting each other for 30 metres and there's no foul at all? Doesn't seem that realistic and gives an davantage to the defense IMO since it makes it easier to slow opponents attacks down or to win the ball.
But like I said, overall, it's a really un game and to me, there's a felling that's hard to describe. I wanna always play "just one more game", it's really addicting and I never thought that just playing exhibition matches is so much fun. Of course it ain't perfect, but to me, it's a really good game and I'm happy to play PES again this year.
