I'm interested in knowing if people agree that 2019 was the pinnacle of the series.
For me, the gameplay balance is awesome. yes you have to battle to cut out the scripted attacks at the start of ML games, but if you defend well, you can counter them.
the way the ball moves, ricochets off players, bad first touches leaving defenders open to being pounced on, dribbling tricks, free kicks.
it all just works for me.
i can't stand the operatic music for the FA Cup games, but other than that, it's really hold up well.
shooting is great, high passes, lobs work very well.
crossing is very hit or miss for me, as i can't regularly get goals from them - even with tall players with 80+ heading stats.
but versus other versions of the game, i really am enjoying this.
